In a crib in on Pearl Island, the pearl in the East Blue.

[AN- I'm sorry for the cliff hanger, my mom walked in.]

They (the Pirates) shot my crib and that scared him, but Tock wasn't hurt so Tock had just stayed silent and waited. Then the pirate that just shot wondered why that baby's still not crying, as he was sure he wasn't hurt, but in the end, he had turned away and went down the hall after possessing some gold and silver ornaments, as they were the only valuable things in the room, aside from Tock.

Tock 'Whew...~! They went away.' he was relieved.~

Tock 'I'd thought that they would at least nock-over my crib, but I suppose they are more woried about taking treasure, but who knows maybe I have very precious valuables stashed under me.? How would they know before searching me if there was nothing there?. Well I'm glad that they didn't either way now. But what was that panel thing that showed up before? It seemed useful, any help would be useful to survive on my own, which I probably am now seeing as pirates just came in shooting even at babies. I hope that someone in my family is still ok. Maybe they went out to buy food and that's why I've been alone?. But then again, that means that the Pirates could have met them outside and that's just as bad. Oh, I hope they're ok.'

Tock was thinking seriously about the system being helping potentally was in part due to it's abruptness, but mainly because he read a lot before in his past life. Namely a novel called 'Shake the Sky With My New Life, or STSWMNL for short, which also went by the name of 'Stir the Universe With My New Hand' or STUWMNH. Most people called it Shake the Universe, but he knew it by, 'Both Hands To Shake The World'. Why? I don't know why. But, I sounds good to me so~. Okay, anyway it was the case that he read this novel and in this novel that he read - almost religiously every morning before rolling out of bed - there was a system that the main character used to exploit to get stronger than all of the other cultivators(those that oppose the heavens), otherwise known as those that walk against or apose the heavens in order to walk the road the cultivators are on.

Ughh, now that you know what cultivators are, let's get into the system. The system that the main character of STUWMNL used had seven functions that he had unlocked throughout the story up to the point that he had read before he died. 'Ugh! I'll never get to read until the finish of it after all.!~' "^~^'' he yelled, 'Nooo!!~~ It was just getting good!~'. He then has a sudden realisation, 'No, it can't be, was I just missing that garbage novel? Ughh, I hope that thought never crosses my mind again, if I ever think something like that again then I better have a good reason. I hope I never think something like that again.' He then dismisses the thought and then thinks, 'Nows not the time I need to figure out how to use the system first.'

Tock thinks on it for a while and then finds that by doing a mental up,up,down, down, left, right, left, right, then the system appears. He then reads it.

Tock 'So it's similar to what was in the novel I suppose then?' Tock thinks as he reads that panel and finds out that the controls for the system are just what he'd imagined for STUWMNH, while reading. 'If it's that simple then I'm not gonna have a hard time adapting at all. The first thing that I should be focused on is growing my body so that I can get out of this crib and get this system moving.' Tock figures out a plan.

Tock 'First things first let me read all the details of this system and find the quick grow-up button.'

Tock read all of the system and learned everything that it had to offer. He learned that it could fuse items that he touched, together into one. He learned this and that it didn't have much else. He learned that the system could indeed help him grow-up his body faster, but that he'd need money in order to use it, and buy an item to get his physic up to that of an adult. Tock also found that he could trade things around him to get currency value in this system. So, taking into account that his baby crib could be swapped into system currency, he immediately did so without so much as a second though about it. 'Well here goes, I hope the blankets break the fall.. I wish I could use something else, but nothing else is close enough. sigh' He turned his head down, and poof, it's gone, nowhere to be seen.

Next Tock checks how much currency that exchanged for, and the value reads five currency. 'Five, only five? Let's see what I can get with this.' Looking through the item list in the system he decided that he'd be looking through the variants and different items all day at this rate and decided to haggle a little with the system and use the filter. Tock search for all items that increase both flexibility and strength and were under five system currency. And then there were three-hundred-twenty-one results.

'Three-hundred huh. This one will do. I'll read them all another time. Wwooohhh!' After not hesitating to press the purchase button the affect surprised him. His body sizzled like he was tossed into an overheated sauna and was left inside alone.

Tock, woke up after four minutes. He'd endured such treatment for a good two hours and then passed out as the feeling subsided. Tock awoke grumpy, "Fu$%#" he said, and sat up. "I need to find out if I can walk now, to see my surroundings." He tried to stand up and it succeeded. Tock was able to take his first steps. It was so cute, you should have seen it.

Tock "I can make words now. |^|' -^'- '|^|" he says, feeling like a big boy now, and oddly satisfied he fails to walk to the front door and falls asleep on the spot. Yup, right there. Fell down on his but and bam. Just asleep, lying on his back, Tock suddenly wakes up, "Ughh, I fell asleep, I'll finish walking to the door and then maybe go back, but for now I need to improve myself with the system so I need to check the surroundings first, and then maybe I'll go back to sleep inside if I can." and then he walks to the door, and wonders if he should go to through the house and destroy the furniture and turn this house into system currency. Tock thinks, 'No I shouldn't, I want to keep this house, even if only for the fact that I believe that this is my first house in this new life, plus I might need it later. Tock has already accepted that this life is probably special and that he owns this body now, and that he might not lose his memories anymore at this rate. His goal is to become the strongest in this world in this life. So that was already on his mind since he'd gotten his first points as, his first purchase was very well thought out and it wasn't the cheapest option, but ultimately the only item that fit his needs and still had zero setbacks or side-effects that could have an effect on his growth negatively in the future.

Tock "It's night-time, perfect, beautiful." 'I can explore now, and I hope nothing bad is deep in the mountain out here, that'd suck. But at least I will not probably run into the Pirates. At the very least if I do then, I'll still be able to hide alright under this darkness." Tock said as he walked outside the door, into the dark.

Tock 'This dark blue really looks unreal.' he said, looking at the now dark blue trail ahead of him. the trees also share a similar color, just darker and richer. He looks around, "Awesome." 'I really like this view. I could seriously look at it for hours.' Tock said. "'I need to get moving.~'" Tock thinks. The system won't collect currency on its own.~ "He(laugh), work itself, I Wish.!"
