Change of plans (Ryoba x Mr saikou)

Chapter 13

I lay on the springy, incredibly uncomfortable bed and I had only one thought on my mind, where is that note. I should have just left it at home but now I was lying down on a bed without it. I still couldn't leave, even though I was feeling much better, although my arm still throbbed from where I landed on it. I needed to get out of there.

I slipped out of the duvet and turned around so I could stand up but then when I tried to prop myself up my arms instantly went weak and I fell back on my side. I wasn't going to give up just yet, then again my whole reputation was on the line if I did. I grabbed a spare bandage that sat on the counter at the end of the bed. I wrapped it around my fore arm and shoulder creating a makeshift sling. I used my skills to remember how to correctly slip the sling over my head before finally tying it into a tight knot. This time when I went to get up I succeeded. I slipped on my shoes and brushed off my creased uniform. I decided to go straight to the newspaper club since all the other students were in class. I stepped up the staircases with a clip clop and tiptoed in the hallway. As I scurried past the principal's office, I heard talking so naturally I had to listen, it was the deep voice and another one again along with the principal's. "You talked to her?!" Kocho shouted "Look boss told me to warn her," that voice was that same voice of the man who slipped me the threatning note, surely he wasn't stupid enough to show up at my school. "Look Boss, we better go now, we have business to attend to" "Alright, it's probably best that you go now before the students arrive, it's nearly lunch" The principal stated while pointing at a small metal clock on the wall above his desk.

I scurried to the newspaper club before they were able to notice me, luckily for me I was just in time. I searched in a giant pile of papers, seeming to be about various events,clubs and news, but alas I found nothing. Until I noticed a tiny sliver of silver peeking out from under the stack of documents, naturally I took it and you guessed it, it was the note. As I saw it I beamed with excitement before returning to my usual emotionless, self.

I haven't been on this app in a while , but then again I recently moved to a new school so understand that the updates will be further appart, by the way there will be more Ichirou x Ryoba stuff coming just bare with me on it. I honestly only have a brief idea of what the rest of the book is going to contain but for now I will see you all in the next chapter, xx.
