Change of plans (Ryoba x Mr saikou)

Chapter 4

As it was nearing  7 pm I decided I would get ready, I didn't know why I wanted to go but this feeling inside me told me I had to.

I picked out a aqua, slotted skirt and a floral blouse, I buttoned it up and tied my hair back with a hair tie. There was still a piece of hair across my face so I used a Sakura pin the section it out of the way. As it was a meet-up I decided to put a decent amount of effort into my look for politeness of course.
I pulled out a small box I kept underneath my bed in which I had stolen from my mother when I was a child. It was a light green makeup box tied together with a pink and white ribbon. As I looked at it a wave of nostalgia hit me. For my mother never allowed me to use it but one day I snuck off and stole the box from the edge of her dressing table. I'd sit in my chair in front of my mirror and smear pink lipstick across my lips and grossly over line them.
I'd spread liquid eyeliner all over my face and belived I still looked good. Alas I did not and I embarrassed my mother and I at a fancy tea party that she forced me to attend. You'd basically show off your child but I; in my mothers words; was not the showing off type. Of course by now I had learned to accept that.
I turned on a small gramophone that my father gifted to me and played a light classical song as I got dressed.

I hooked my earrings in and powdered my face. I used the same lipstick I had once used as a child and smiled at myself in the mirror. I felt content with my appearance so decided to wait until Ichirou came.

I heard a small lock at the door and immediately opened it to find a well dressed Ichirou. "You look gorgeous" he exclaimed "yeah yeah you too" I said smirking. He opened the car door and bowed for me to take a seat as I chuckled. It was a beautiful black car with red leather seats and a nice new car smell in the air. "Wow, where did you get a car like this?!" I questioned
"My mother gave it to me to use when I am older but since I can drive now , I brought it out for our date" he explained
Date?
I decided not to read to much into it.
So he revved up the car and started driving through the neighbourhood.
