Woah... now that was just pure skill. Just as I thought that girl was going to be done for, she did the unexpected. Using her legs, she grabbed the huge man's neck, twisted it and threw him to the ground with such considerable force that the ground shook at her very strength. Then she broke the ropes that tied her legs by simply pushing and ripping then apart, the wood even broke in half when she did that! I was just too amazed and surprised, how could a girl do that? She can't be that strong could she? The man tried fighting back but it was no use, the girl just kept knocking him with a barrage of kicks. Surprisingly, he nearly punched her but she just simply shifted to the left and jumped, giving two dents on the back of his head and knocking him unconscious. I didn't know what to say, suddenly I realised 'I couldn't lose to this girl!' I said in my head. I'm better, faster and stronger than her. I began to grit my teeth, despising her because of natural skill.

I walked up to her slowly, trying to make a entrance "Hey, what happened, are you hurt?" I said.

"Well, not at all. You seem pretty soft on the outside, quit with your talk. Nothing happened between me and that man if you ask me." That girl said, beginning to walk slowly away. I didn't know what to say but I tried to speak.
"Excuse me.. can... I"
The girl turned around, and with a harsh tone said "...What?"
I was fiddling with my fingers, but tried desperately to look at her as to not seem like I was nervous.
"Hello? Earth to beast-boy here!" She exclaimed, as she waved her hands in front of my eyes.
I couldn't say anything, I didn't even know what to say. I was too astounded by how beautiful she looked!
"Tch. This is why I hate talking to boys these days. So useless. No one helps me these days." She said, as she walked away.

I was gaping, I actually talked to a girl for once! Then it struck me, I needed to accompany her, for... well... reasons like protecting her maybe? I tried to get her attention by tapping her shoulder.

She slapped my hand away, looking at me with a menacing look.
"WHAT." The girl said, looking at me straight in the eyes.
Now I felt too scared to even speak, so I tried to do hand gestures to understand what I was asking her. Then... there was particularly one gesture which I did, provoking her to almost slap me... Did it trigger a bad memory?
"Oi...I don't want to waste my time with a stupid fuck like you. I don't need help from anyone if you were trying to ask. If you try and do one more stupid thing towards me, I'll personally bash your head in." She said.
Then, I finally changed, standing against my own against her. At this moment, no longer was I the nervous person, but the guy who'd fight for his righteous beliefs.
"Why would you say that?" I questioned. "So you think everyone in this world... can't help you?"
"Exactly what I'm saying. Do you want to test it right now? Try and beat me then, see how useless you are if you were to help me."
"Is violence really the key to this? Why don't we just talk it out? You clearly haven't seen what the world has to offer you. Did something happen to you which caused you to behave like this? Maybe if you'd just listen to everyone, then you'd realise how much of a..." I began muttering to myself, trying to get my view across, but it seemed pointless right now.
"Shut up." The girl said "You've had your chance to try and reason with me- but all it seems is that you can't even speak to me like a normal person. Now get lost or else."
"One day. You'll find yourself in a situation where even you couldn't get out of. What would you do then?"
Then I saw the girl's hand glow red like fire. She pushed her hand forward and I barely dodged, the wall behind me shattered from the explosion produced from her. Is she a magician? How'd she get that power?! I was pushed back by the force, now I could see why she was like that. That power alone was enough for her to take care of herself, but it seemed as if she couldn't control it...

Ignoring the fact she could have killed me, I asked her firmly.
"Let's escape this ancient city and get on with our own lives once we're out." I put my hand out, sweating bullets as she was already angered enough. She seemed hesitant as first, but after me seeing her powers. The girl reached out her hand to shake it.
"... Fine. You didn't see anything that happened. This is only temporary, once we get out, I'll act as if I don't know you."
I shivered a little and began to get nervous again. Nodding my head in agreement stupidly as to not provoke her again.
