"Welcome, Bill Harvards. Please wait at the lounge for the meeting!" A familiar voice said as the man was scanned by a machine before entering in his own workplace. He sighed and looked quite anxious but reassured himself that nothing wrong was going on. Just as he was about to relax on the couch, he was quickly startled by a woman who escorted him down to an elevator. The man heard shouts and screams coming down from below and the sounds of banging and scratching increased as they went deeper and deeper to the bottom. Bill tried to keep a stern and calm face, but his constant movement and shuffling around the enclosed elevator showed that he was actually nervous. Looking at his watch, he then knew what they were going to do with him and had an uneasy feeling of regret and anger at the same time.

Bill then looked at the woman, she seemed to be of a higher status than him and wore black all over except for her suit which contrasted against the black. The elevator stopped and you could see that curiousity was building up inside her, about to burst out and let out all the excitment and anticipation inside. The woman let Bill go first and he thanked her after.  But there wasn't a single soul here in some of the hallways and the place did not have a cheerful and celebrated atmosphere for their greatest achievement. There was a cold and silent atmosphere when they strolled in the partially dark lit place, none of the creatures in this lab made a single sound and seemed to be either asleep or dead... all but one. This creature seemed to be awake and eager to get out and you could tell in it's red eyes that it was quite primal and fierce, this was the perfect creature that looked like it would follow orders judging from everyone's agreement and proceeding with the experiment, all the scientists that stood there awaited Bill's command. He hesitated for a moment and thought about what might happen, the soldiers which were behind him readied their sniper rifles, pointing at the glass directly at the creature as Bill began to lift his arm and reached for the button. The tension started to build up and as he pressed the button...

The chamber opened, removing the pipes that fed this monstrosity and there was a chilling deathly silence in the air, what felt like minutes was actually just a few seconds, until that was broken by the low and haunting growling coming from the chamber that the creature was in. There was the sound of metal puncturing through the flesh but it sounded like a kitchen knife being sharpened by a honing steel. Everyone felt like their hearts were going to jump out of their chests and were ready for anything. 5 minutes had passed and everyone was still standing there, even after 10 minutes... 15 minutes... 30 minutes... It was then, after an hour, that one of the soldiers couldn't take it and began to shoot at the tube, harming it deliberately to drive it out. But the fog revealed of no life presence ever in the chamber...

Everyone directed their eyes everywhere, staying close and readied their positions... the scientists realised that their perfect experiment had escaped and that it was actually a failure. All of their hopes were drained and it quickly drew to anger and hatred towards the creature. The black fog which emmitted out from the chamber started drawing nearer and nearer to the huddled up group and just as it touched one of them, the silence broke as the creature said, "Oh... how I pity you, you poor lost beings, thank you for freeing me... now... Erebilith joins the hunt..."
