Chapter 6

Rachel's pov
It had been a few weeks since me and Chris kissed I told Steph about it and she was overjoyed me and Chris decided to go on a date tonight I was slightly nervous. I was already at the school as I had meetings all day so I wanted to prepare the paperwork I was in the office when the phone rang it was the LeA they wanted to inspect the school again so I got a message to all the staff for a staff meeting before classes. As I walked to the staff room I bumped into Karen hey I said walking beside her hey how are you and Chris she said smirking shaddup I said smiling so how's Rob I said smiling rach she whined actually pouting omg your pouting I said laughing oh shh she said as we entered the staff room where everyone was. Right so we have the Lea coming to inspect the school again I said I heard grantly sigh that reminds me the cow has to go I said making Steph and chris laugh I seen Eddie stare at us confused Michael and I will be going round then classrooms today as a precaution just to see who stands out I finished I went to make tea with Steph and Karen so you and a certain deputy which one I said making Steph laugh loudly attracting everyone's attention so you have a date tonight don't you Steph said quieter making me blush.
As me and Michael made our way round the classrooms I spied Melissa shouting on the phone odd oh well we finished after lunch I was currently in my office with Chris and Steph discussing our next holiday when the office door banged open and in walked Eddie and Melissa did you forget how to knock I said glaring at them oh sorry Eddie said whilst Melissa shrugged her shoulders so dad wants us round for dinner rachie she said as if nothing had happened making me angrier good for you I said as Chris sighed loudly no silly me Eddie you and your husband she said grinning as if the ice cream man was here. I haven't spoken to him since I was 17 I said making her giggle that's fine he said all's forgiven she then skipped out the office with Eddie following her like a puppy I stared at Chris and Steph bewildered.
It was now 8pm and Steph was babysitting I was currently on a date with Chris and it amazing he took us dancing as the night came a close and we were in our doorstep he grabbed me by the waist and stared at me Rachel will you be my girlfriend he said making me grin I'd love to I said kissing him softly the kiss deepened we broke apart 5 minutes later for air god I loved this man that night after Steph had left me and Chris were curled up on the couch watching a movie when I voiced what had been concerning me do you think I should go to dinner at my fathers I said staring at Chris I think the decision is your rach and your alone but any decision you make I'll be here to back you always he said as we hugged. We fell asleep listening to each other heartbeats.
