We were in an airport, waiting for a flight back home. Scarlett was reading her book, and I was just looking around the airport at the other teams. My phone buzzed.
Kitty: TELL HER!
Kitty: TELL HER!

Kitty: TELL HER, OR I WILL!!!!!!!!!!
I looked over at Kitty, who was glaring at me like she was trying to set me on fire. She typed another message
Kitty: WE BOTH KNOW IM NOT KIDDING
Me: *I'm
Kitty: TELL HER!
Kitty: TELL HER!
Alex: ok, fine, JEEZ!
"Um, Scarlett?" I said. Scarlett closed her book.
"Yes?" she said.
"I like you" I blurted out "A lot. And you don't have to like me back, but I just really wanted to tell you, because I do like you-"
"Alex" Scarlett interrupted, grabbing my hands "You know how in movies people sing when they can't think of things to say?"
"Yeah?"
"Sometimes it's easier to just kiss instead"
"Yeah?"
"yeah".
I kissed her, she kissed me back.
