25: Change Future

"Say what?" Y/n asked without looking at Jimin. "That you were my cousin," Jimin said and Y/n turned to look at him.

"Then why couldn't you say anything when she asked you about me?" She asked and Jimin glared at her.

"But still that doesn't give you a right to say that. You know how I feel about you." He said and Y/n nodded her head.

"I know how you feel, Jimin. But I love Taehyung." She said and Jimin clenched his jaws and fisted his hands. "What about my feelings? My love?" He asked and she looked at him.

"I am sorry if I hurt you. But try to understand, Jimin. I don't love you." She said and Jimin punched the elevator door harshly while Y/n gasped in fear. "What are you-"

His hand came up to her lower back, pulling her into his body and stopping her from sliding back on her heels, or the way his head leaned until her lips were brushing his.

Her breath hitched, a pleasure seen against the corner of his mouth, and for a few precious seconds, she just savored it, the deep pleasure that ran through them both as they closed their eyes and let themselves just be, here, with each other.

Quiet. Still. One last moment.

Then Y/n opened her mouth and turned her head, breathing heavily, "Please."

Jimin groaned deep in his chest with his lips on her cheekbone. It was frightening. Frightening, how good this felt. How easy it would be to never stop. To let time stretch and unbend, forget about everything else, and simply stay in this moment forever.

But Jimin pulled back first, holding her eyes as he tried to collect himself. He turned around to face the elevator door blankly while she composed herself, not sparing a glance at him. And as the door slid open both of them walked out.

Taehyung called Y/n's phone for the fiftieth time now but still didn't get an answer. He bit his lips in frustration while standing in the living room of the apartment until Namjoon approached him with Jungkook. "Did she pick up?" Jungkook asked but he shook his head.

He sighed deeply while Namjoon fidgeted with his fingers. "Taehyung, we found who injected the poison in mom's blood. The nurse was caught and they found the boss who sent him." He said and both Taehyung and Jungkook looked at him in shock.

"Who is it? Park Changho?" Taehyung asked but Namjoon shook his head. "Park Jinhua. His brother. The director of our rival group. This is not the first time that they attacked us. Dad and I were attacked by him as well." He said and Taehyung frowned at him.

"You mean even before Y/n came into our lives?" Taehyung asked seriously and Namjoon nodded his head. Taehyung exhaled deeply and rubbed his forehead.

"I knew it! Y/n can't be the only reason why they would hurt your family! I knew it!" Jungkook snarled while pointing at Taehyung who looked away and tried calling her once again.

"I hope she never picks up your call so that you regret what you thought about her and die out of guilt!" Jungkook said and Taehyung glared at him. Jungkook scoffed at him and walked out of the room.

Taehyung looked at Namjoon who was looking at him in guilt as well. "If this is the reason why he is after our family then he must have found out about Y/n through our family as well. Not the other way around." Taehyung said and Namjoon nodded.

"She might be in danger!" Taehyung exclaimed and groaned when no one answered the call.

"What did you say to her last time?" Namjoon asked him and he shook his head. "I don't know. I was really angry at that time. I don't remember anything."

Tears were prickling his eyes and Namjoon sighed before patting his shoulder. "Maybe she went back to the hotel?" Namjoon said and Taehyung looked at him. "She hated that place. She would never go there." He said but Namjoon narrowed his eyes.

"But she doesn't have any other place to go. So she might be there. You should check." He said and Taehyung stood up. "I am going there right now."

"Why are you here?" Ara said with a gasp while looking at Y/n. She smiled at her and walked over to her.

Jimin saw Y/n hugging her mother so he thought he should give them some privacy. He slowly walked away from the chambers and then towards the office.

"I am here for you, mother," Y/n said cheerfully. Ara shook her head and pulled back. "I sent you out so that you escape this place then why did you come back?" She asked and Y/n frowned at her.

"Mother, Jimin promised me. He said that he will not lock me anymore. You also don't need to be locked up anymore. He said to me how his father locked you up like me and used your powers. Jimin is not like his father. He said that he won't lock us in here." Y/n said and Ara shook her head.

"You shouldn't have come here. You should stop using your power over others. You should live a normal life." She said Y/n frowned at her.

"But mom they don't want me there." Y/n said and Ara looked at her. "Who?" She asked and Y/n hung her head low.

"Taehyung," she said. "Who is he?"

"Someone I love," she replied and Ara looked at her softly. "You fell in love with someone but then came back here?"

"I caused trouble and he asked me to leave," Y/n said and Ara sighed deeply before embracing her again. "You know people often do things when they are angry. If you love him enough you should be able to forgive them." She mumbled and Y/n started crying.

"I love him so much, mother. I'm not at all angry at him for behaving that way. I'm just angry at myself for creating so much trouble in his life." Y/n confessed and her mother hugged her tighter. "Don't cry, baby. It's alright. You don't cause trouble. Stop thinking that way."

"But mother, you also have that power, Jimin said. How did we get these powers?" She asked and Ara pulled back to look at her. "I don't know how we got them, my child. I didn't have them since my birth. I got into an accident before you came into my life and when I woke up after recovery I suddenly possessed the power to see future by touching other's hands."

"Just to see the future? Not stopping time or healing?" She asked but Ara shook her head. "I have heard from Changho that you can heal along with seeing the future and that you possess vampire charcters as well. I don't know how you got them. Even stopping time? I never heard of that."

"Mother, I don't understand you." Y/n said while looking at Ara weirdly. She sighed deeply before saying.

"I only have the power to see the future. But you are different. You can change future it seems."
