23: Help her

Taehyung opened the door to find Y/n sleeping on the couch with puffy eyes and messed up state. He looked at her emotionlessly and walked towards the door, to open it and walk out. He harshly slammed on the door which caused Y/n to wake up.

She sat up on the couch and saw the bedroom door open. She stood up and roamed around the entire flat but found no trace of Taehyung. She sighed and sat back on the couch. 

Suddenly her stomach growled and she covered it with her hands. "I am hungry."

"What is her condition?" Jinhua asked his man. "Big boss, she is recovering. Since she has a huge blow on her head she has still not woken up." 

Jinhua nodded and extended his hand to place the vial on his man. "This much will be enough for Taehyung to throw her out."

"Are you sure, sir?" Jinhua glared at his question. "How else do you want to do it?" He growled and the man bowed his head before walking away from the room.

Y/n was slurping the noodles at Jin's restaurant when suddenly Jungkook barged into the restaurant. "Hey, mommy!" He cheered with his usual bunny smile.

Y/n jumped on her spot and looked at him with a small smile. Jin scoffed and continued wiping the clean bowls of the restaurant.

"How are you doing?" Jungkook asked her and she smiled which didn't quite reach her eyes and Jungkook felt the tension between them. "What happened?" Jungkook asked in confusion.

"Shouldn't you ask that to your beloved brother-in-law?" Hoseok said while glaring at him. "Ahh...so he behaved rudely with you?" Jungkook asked Y/n but she shook her head.

"He was probably stressed and angry since his mother had an accident. I would have reacted the same." She said. Jungkook sighed deeply.

"You are so understanding. Here Jisoo hits me when I am 3 minutes late for our dates." Jungkook said while eyeing the food.

"Do you want this, Kookmi?" She asked and he nodded like a puppy. She took one last bite and slid the bowl to him.

"Thank you, mommy!" Jungkook cheered before taking the chopsticks and digging into the noodles.

"This guy is older than you! Stop treating him like a kid!" Jin barked and Y/n looked at him.

"He was looking hungry and you taught me to take care of everyone," she said. Jin rubbed his forehead while Jungkook smirked and continued eating the free noodles.

After he was done, he laid back on the chair and looked at Y/n smiling at her. Then his eyes fell upon two pairs of eyes glaring at him so he sat up straight. "Sorry, the noodles were good and tasty-" 

His phone suddenly started ringing so he took it out and frowned in confusion. "Yes, Jisoo? Okay, alright! I am coming." He said over the phone and stood up.

"Sorry, I have to go. Thank you for the noodles." Jungkook said but Y/n stopped him.

"What happened?" She asked him but he shook his head. "Mrs. Kim, her condition suddenly worsened. I am heading there." He said she gasped.

"Hey, don't worry. She'll be alright." Jungkook said before passing a smile to Y/n  and walking out of the restaurant.

"This is not your fault, Y/n. Don't blame yourself." Hoseok said and she looked up at him.

"What happened?" Taehyung asked his father. "Somebody injected too much brulamcin toxin into her blood. It is similar to slow poison for the vampires."
