A kemn gobhir raat,
momotar alo a bhore gache khat.
Shishuti tar mayer bok a joriye ache,
Maa tar bacha k niye soye ache.
Kichokhon pore hobe sokal,
jabe chorate gabhi parar rakhal.
Pakhi der chechamechi suru hobe,
bhorer pora goli mone robe.
Sai bhabna niye mayer din suru,
Maa e to tar bachar prothom guru.
Uthai nityo kormai laglo tini,
Keo e bholo na sokal e maa er kache rini.
