Kirai Kartik kothai gechai?
Soma bollo Ram er kache.
Ram k sai khujte gechai,
kinto Ram gechai sita er kache.
Sita gechai Ganesh k petai,
Ganesh khujche shiv thakur.
Shiv gechai Assam er pukur,
karon sai chai Uma thakur.
Kinto keo e kau k e paini,
khelar mon chilo bhora jai ni.
Sob e udas monai bosaichilo,
ki bhabe hobe khela bhabchilo.
Onek khon sobai opekha Kore,
nij basai sokale firai gelo ghure.
Pore abar hobe sondor khela,
jokhon thakbena kono jhamela.
