I woke up, my eyes burning from last night, with a whisper in my ear.
"Good morning darling.." I almost shit my pants hearing this. "Oh, morning dad." I said faintly. "I made you some breakfast. Pancakes, your favorite." Jokingly, I said, "Dad! I like waffles!"He gave this weird confused face that I almost laughed at. "Really?" I laughed. "Nah, just kidding waffles suck." He left, and right behind him I closed the door, got my light pink panties on, my pineapple shorts, a black bra and tank, and a light purple crop top. I walked over to the kitchen to find my mom sitting on the couch watching her news and my dad putting maple syrup all over my pancakes because that's how I like it.
"How long till we go to Hawaii?" I said, putting my dishes away in the sink. "Three hours, darling. Do you have everything packed?" "I'm pretty sure. After I eat I'll go see. Also, how long will we be staying there?" I gave him this excited smile which I think was really weird. "Let's see, today's the 22nd, your birthday, missing school for a few weeks so...one and a half weeks?" I jumped with excitement and went into my room.
