I looked at the wood flooring blankly.
Right there, there was separate piles of stuff. Here's a list.
1st pile: Makeup.
2nd pile: crop tops
3rd pile: flip-flops
4th pile: chevron and tribal pattern cases and laptop bags.
I squealed with excitement. And my mom and dad came down.
"Happy birthday Luna!" They both said.
"OMG!! Wha...how.....why?!"
"Because your such a good daughter!"
"Thanks mom." And I walked up to them and hugged them.
"Let me get dressed in them!" And with that I closed my door.
I chose a crop top that had a breast pocket that was black, and the sleeves were black too. Then the main part of the shirt was a peach color. Then I chose light blue shorts.
I went through the makeup pile and I found a light red lipstick, mascara, liquid eyeliner, a pallet of eyeshadow, and a light pink blush.
I looked in the mirror and I looked beautiful. The winged eyeliner, smokey eye, long eyelashes, looked like a beautiful girl who would find love one day to me.
I opened my door and got some Lucky Charms, milk, spoon, and a bowl and prepared my cereal.
"You look beautiful, Luna"
"Thanks Dad. I worked hard on it."
"I see that. Are you excited for Hawaii?"
"YES! I still can't believe we're going!"
I sat down and me and my dad talked about what we were going to do there.
"Well, I'm going to find a cute boy to love. We can go to the pool, and get a suntan together..it will be a dream.."
"Don't forget you'll have to hang out with me!"
"I wont, Dad."
I got up and put my bowl in the sink and I went to my room, put my Mac Book in one of the new Tribal laptop cases, to my phone and replaced it with a new tribal case. And got red flip-flops and went out the door to go to the beach.
I took my phone out and called my friend Sabrina. She picked up on the fourth ring.
"Hello?"
"Hey Sabrina!"
"Hey Luna!! Whatdya' need?"
"I just wanted to see if you want to come to the beach?"
"Missing out on going to the beach with my friend before her birthday?? OF COURSE I WILL COME!!"
"Wonderful. Vanderwall beach!"
"I'll be there in a few!"
I got to the beach, laid out my baby blue towel and waited for Sabrina to come.
