This would go on for days, Ben would talk to her and then suddenly slit her with the knife somewhere, then he would leave. He would make sure that she had food and water, he would say that he didn't want her starving when there were more fun ways to hurt her.

One day...

"Hello! Are you excited to see me? I bet you are, cause I'm the only person that you'll ever see," he said, in more of a happy tone than usual. "Guess what? They totally forgot about you! Except for your parents, they are devastated, but everyone else is living their lives normally."

Tears started to swell into Clarice's eyes. She just wanted to go home and live her life normally, how could everyone forget about her? The tears started to sting her eyes and roll down her face, Ben looked at her like he was remembering how it felt when they had forgotten about him and gave up the search. Ben then snapped back and quickly cut her on the wrist, then he put the food in front of her where she could just eat it like a dog. Then he ran back upstairs, shutting the door behind him leaving only the singular lamp one in the room.

Clarice started to eat the food, but then realized something, the rope around her wrist felt looser. She started to wiggle her wrist and soon she was able to slip it out of the tied rope, Ben must have accidentally cut the rope when he cut her wrist. She used the free hand to untie the other, and then used the rope to get the zip ties off her legs. As she was weaving the rope back and forth, she heard footsteps coming down the stairs to the room that Ben had her tied up in.

Clarice quickly put the rope behind her back and pretended that she still had her hands tied, Ben came down carrying two familiar people. It was Vivian and Josh, he had her over his shoulder and Josh was being dragged behind. He placed them next to Clarice and started to tie them up. Clarice became wide eyed, and started to scream at Ben.

"Why are you bringing my friends in? Let them go! They haven't seen your face yet, so let them go, you maniac! Let them go!" Clarice was now screaming at him at the top of her lungs.

"Oh I can't do that, they were out looking for you. Calling your name, then they found this place and came in." Ben said, still perfecting the knots, "I quickly knocked them both out and brought them here."

"What do you mean by they found this place? Aren't we in the old manor?" asked Clarice, who was confused about what he had said.

"Oh no, I'm not that stupid, to have my hidding place for you in the kidnapping scene. This is an old house farther back in the woods behind the manor." He said, a toothy grin spread across his face, reaching ear to ear.

------------------------

Clarice watched as Vivian slowly opened her eyes, she started to look around the room. A worried look spread across Vivian's face when she saw the man standing in the same corner of the room that he was in when Clarice first arrived. Josh then let out a scream, he had just opened his eyes and also saw the man. Ben approached them both and slowly turned the knife around in his hands, he gave them the welcome that Clarice had gotten and then slit Vivian's palm. Vivian screamed in pain, and Ben was now heading towards Josh with the knife, he quickly cut the hand and went upstairs, both of them were screaming in pain as tears stung their eyes.

"Hey,Josh, Vivian, can you stop screaming so we can talk?" Clarice whispered, as she leaned closer to Vivian who was closer to her then Josh.

Vivian's eyes went wide, and she stopped screaming and started to calm herself down. Vivian just stared at her for a minute or two, trying to process what all had just happened. Josh just sat there, his mouth open as if he just saw a ghost. Finally, Vivian snapped back to reality, she started to mumble something, but Clarice couldn't understand what she said.
