Elena woke up the next morning still cuddled into Kol she was happy to wake up and find out that last night hadn't been a dream. That this was real and she had actually found her family. She had been terrifed that she was going to wake up and be back in Mystic Falls her daughter choosing to ignore her and no idea whether they had survived.

"Morning."

She looked up to see Kol looking down at her she had missed moments like this. "How long have you been awake?"

"Not long i didn't want to wake you." He hadn't wanted to distrub her sleep not knowing when the last time she had truly been at ease and be able to sleep without having to worry or be scared that something was going to go wrong. "You looked aso peaceful."

She smiled sligtly it had been really peaceful and unlike any sleep that she had gotten in the last decade. Being away from him had been hard she never had a problem with sleeping by herself but after the accident she begun tossing and turning for hours on end. "It was peaceful."

"Happy to hear." He couldn't complain he hadn't been getting good sleep either it was good having her back in his arms. "We should undo that binding i can't be the mean one in the relationship."

"I'm not mean." She knew that werewolf her had a bad temper and because of being a vampire and a werewolf it amplified it but she didn't think that it was that bad. She wasn't the mean one in the relationship.

"Anyone with a werewolf temper is mean." The same applied for Melani she had the temper and when she got upset it was always better to back away from her and let her calm down herself.

"Rude." She was not the mean one in their relationship sure she was a little on the fiesty side but that was it.

"Oh really." He knew better he knew that he had been the nicer one and she usually had found herself with an attitude or mad because someone said something or she was just in one of her moods. "Do you remember them five years i was certainly the nicer one."

"That is not true." She wasn't that bad she knew that she had an attitude probelm but that was a given with the werewolf temper.

As much as she didn't want to admit it they both knew that it was true. "Yes it is Darling."

"Maybe i was the meaner one but that wasn't always my fault they always said stupid things." Not that she was saying that she was the meaner one but if she was it was because of the people that were around her it was not her.

Makayla walked downstairs to see her aunts in the courtyard looking through spell books. She was sure they were looking for something and she was wondering if she could help. "What are you looking for?"

Katherine looked up at her niece she knew that they were going to need her help but that wasn't her major concern at the moment. She knew that the kids were all prideful and they didn't like to admit when they were in the wrong but she didn't care it was happenig. "Have you apologized to your mother?"

She knew that her mom had trouble going to sleep over the years so she wasn't going to mess with her when she was actually getting sleep. "She went to sleep."

Katherine was happy that she was up they needed to find the spell so that they would be able to unbind her werewolf side so that she would be able to be in better control again.  "Well then you'll be of better use we need the spell to do the unbiding."

Makayla put her hands in her back pocket she was happy that she was going to be of some help. She already had the spell so she would be able to give it to them to speed up the process. "I have it i can give it to you."
