CHAPTER 30 : Rest

"Are you there yet Y/n-chin?" asked Mikey from the other side through the phone.

"I just got out of the train station, you don't need to accompany me by call until I get there Mikey geez." Y/n rolled her eyes tiredly as she continued to go where she was supposed to go now.

"Hehe, since Baji, Chifuyu, and Takemichi are needed now in the hideout, all I can do is just company you like this until you get safe."

"Yeah, yeah, it only took five minutes more until I arrived."

"Be careful from now on Y/n-chin, ever since you know us, well the other gang that might be challenging us either in Tokyo or outside of the city, might use you as bait for a war or something."

Mikey said that out of the blue, somewhat making Y/n a bit sluggish, "R-Really?"

"Could be, but there's nothing to worry about since we all are here for you, even Ken-chin."

"What do you mean, especially Draken-kun?"

"Oh uh, well you know he is the wiser among all of us in Toman so yeah he's been worried as hell about you. Ya know the reason why he got a high fever?"

"Why is it?"

"Ken-chin is the one who overworked himself after he learnt that you were almost kidnapped. I shouldn't tell you this since he told me to keep it a secret but he's been pushing himself too much. He got drained by the rain four days straight without a rest when he tried to find a clue or evidence of the one who did that to you, to catch the bad guys."

Y/n fell silent, why would Draken do that too far for her? Does he really care about her that much just like he also towards his own crush? She doesn't understand.

"I..."

"So that's why; I need your help Y/n-chin. To wake up his sense not to be all selfish and independent about this problem, he really is a hot headed person when it comes to something regarding his comrades in danger and yeah, he's been the hardest one when he got sick."

Y/n nodded as she then entered the building where Draken lives, "Was it that difficult to make him understand that a rest is important??"

"It was sooo haarrd. Sometimes I'm so annoyed that every time I got sick, Ken-chin would be all bossy towards me to have a rest and go to a doctor but when it comes to himself. For f*ck sake, he won't even listen to anyone's lecture, including me, Y/n-chin! Me!" Mikey whines from the other side while munching his third dorayaki.

"Okay I get it, I'm on the lift now to go to his room, I'll do my best to take care of him."

"Please do!! Oh and don't forget to give him a kiss so he will do whatever you say, ciao!"

"WHAT?!" Before Y/n could recall what just Mikey said, he already ended the call as when the 'ting' from the lift was heard, she already arrived at his place.

When she stepped inside, there was the usual chick who works here or as Draken's neighbor.

"Oh Y/n-chan thank goodness you're here! You heard what happened to Kenny Boy right?" Remi asks while she puts her usual magazine on the table.

"Hi Remi-san, is his fever still that bad?"

Remi shrugs, "I even don't know his condition since he locked the door, literally not letting everyone in but now you're here, go on."

Y/n then did what she said and went straight to Draken's room, this is the second time for her coming to his place and somewhat she felt nervous, good thing she had her money left to buy a chicken soup before checking on the sick guy.
