Darkness was all (Y/n) saw and felt. She barely knew what just happened. She felt like she was surrounded by something, but she couldn't put her mind to it. Then something disturbed whatever she was in and made her come out. Popping out her octo form, she woke up from this "sleep-like" stasis. She proceeded to look around. "What the??? Where....." she said before pausing on seeing agent 8 octoling boy from the game. "Wait your....but then I'm...." she proceeded to look at her hands and saw her outfit.

"Okay these are nice heels...." she said admiring the clothes. "Um...." Agent 8 spoke up. She looked at him. "Your lost here too?" He asks. "Yeah, I'm guessin you too?" (Y/n) said, realizing the weird speech sounds like the game, but she can understand it. "Agent 8 there you are....you know these ol' muscles of mine can't move like they used to" an older looking inkling, she recognized as Captain Cuttlefish.

Your POV

Wait a damn minute I'm in a damn video game, this is the beginning of the Octo Expansion, meaning I'm most likely a Octoling myself. I see the tag on my wrist and leg and it says 10,006 on the tag. "Number 6? What the heck?" I blink realizing my new person doesn't human swear. Figures. "Yeah I'm number 8, I don't remember my name either so this guy called me Agent 8" Agent 8 said. "Uh....I remember my name....its (Y/n) but you can call me that or (N/n)" I said shrugging. "Well if your number is 6, we'll call you Agent 6 now for the mission I'm assigned you both, Agent 8 and 6, look for a new way out this place" Captain Cuttlefish ordered. "Okay old man" I said shugging.

Then someone came falling from the ceiling, falling to the ground with a splat sound. "Oooof....that gotta hurt....wait is he naked!?" I yelled shocked at the fact this is the first time seeing a naked Inkling. "Squid?" Agent 8 said confused. I then used a roller I found where I woke up from and whacked the naked inkling. But then I pause feeling like I've seen this shit before. "Ow! Rider! I'm sorryyyyy don't hit me okayyyyy!!" Said the Inkling. I raised the roller. It was a carbon roller. Must be the splatoon 2 variant. "Rider? Nah nah my name is (y/n) or Agent 6" I said then I saw the boy look up. He got up and smile. "Oh hi! Nice to meet you (y/n)! I'm Goggles!" He says smiling at me. "Thats nice and all but first things first....PUT SOME DAMN CLOTHES ON!?" I yell at him. "Ahhhh okay okay okay! Oh but wait idk where my clothes are at...." Goggles frantically looked around for his clothes he had. "Here you go" Agent 8 said handing Goggles clothes.

In the tent

Goggles started to put them on in a goofy way. "Whats your name" Goggles asks Agent 8. "Uh....I....." he drifted. "He doesn't remember his name or anything, so gramps calls him Agent 8" I explain. "8? Then let's give him a name!" Goggles smiles. "Pardon? Your gonna just name him??" I looked confused. "Yeah! It's better than just Agent 8! Now let's see....how about Hachi!" He says pointing it out. "Hachi?" Agent 8 said surprised but happy. "Isn't that just 8 in Japanese???" I looked confused. Goggles tilted his head smiling. "Japanese? Whats that? Is that food? Man now I'm hungryyyyy" he said with his stomach growling. "Dude nows not the time..." I said. Goggles pulls out some rice balls from who knows where and offered me and Hachi one. "Thanks...." Hachi said taking one. "I'm not gonna ask where those come from and just take it" I say taking one. Captain Cuttlefish sipped some tea. "Oh yeah where are we??" Goggles asked. "I really don't know, it seems we're deep underground" Captain Cuttlefish responded "Looks like an old subway station" I answered. "Yeah it looks like Goggles fell from that hole up there" Hachi pointed out. "Ah! Right! I was coming back from a battle! I got swept away by the ocean heading back, the party is still going on!" Goggles said remembering. "I gotta go back!" He said.

"A party? A battle? Which is it???" I say unsure to tell what he was doing first. "Well we don't know how to return" Cuttlefish said. "Old man, my question how you got here...." I deadpanned. He shrugged making me sigh. "The station doesn't look like it's been used in a long time" Hachi said while doing maintenance on the roller. "Agent 8 and I have been here for a few days, we recently found Agent 6, (y/n)" Cuttlefish said. "And now we found you" Hachi taking a bite of the rice balls, must took a break from working on the roller. I took a bite of mine, finally feeling the hunger. "Oh right I remember, I was attacked in Octo Valley, but then when I came to...I was here" Cuttlefish said. "Ah so that's it...." "it appears that Agent 8 lost his memories due to that" Cuttlefish said. "You don't remember anything???" Goggles asked Hachi while chewing. "No I dont....it felt like I was trying to go somewhere...." Hachi said. "To the bathroom maybe?" Goggles nonchalantly said. "It's not good for the body to hold it in" Cuttlefish said. "WHY WOULD IT BE FOR THE BATHROOM!?" I yell confused. "I don't think it was for the bathroom..." Hachi said. "Don't humor him!" I say to Hachi which made him just smile. "For now let's try to get above ground" Cuttlefish said. "Okay" I say. "Yeah!" Goggles cheered. "Above ground" Hachi drifted. "Let's go! Come with us Hachi, (Y/n)!" Goggles said getting out the tent. "You might remember something" he continued. "....yeah" "Not like I have any other option"
