Chapter 60

Gulf's POV:

"D-Daddy...."

"Will you marry me?" Mew said.

My chest was pounding so hard because of the great joy I was feeling. I never thought I would be here in this situation. My love of my life wants to marry me. I cried a lot. He's just looking at me now and waiting for my answer. I'm a bit dizzy and hungry too. 'just calm down there baby. we will also eat later. mommy will just answer daddy's question.' I said to myself. I looked at the ring and him. I touched his cheek and wiped some tears that fell on his cheek.

"Do you remember what you told me before about the ring?"

Flashback:

When 1 year old Gulf and 4 years old Mew:

Gulf sitting on Mew's lap while holding the couple ring hanging around its neck.

do you like that?" Mew asked. Gulf immediately looked at him and nodded cheerfully.

so Mew removed the ring from hanging around its neck and gave it to Gulf. He wore the necklace that hung a ring. to Gulf's neck and a pair of the rings he hid in his pocket. And he says

"My mommy said that when you give a ring to someone because you love him or her  and you are ready to be with him/ her forever. And this ring was given to me by my grandfather, he told me that I would only give to my partner when I grown up. But you still don't understand what I'm saying because you're still a baby." Mew smiling said.

"Uppy not baby anymore, Uppy is strong."said Gulf. "uppy want you layk(like) dada. uppy lab(love) you." Gulf said smiling and kissed Mew again on the lips.

Mew, on the other hand, was dumbfounded by what Gulf had done.

"See? Uppy big na, layk Mama and Dada kish(kiss) na. Uppy want you like Dada. layk family. Uppy Mama, Meow Dada." Uppy said as he point Mew as like his Dada. cheerfully.

Mew smiled and raised his little finger.

"do you like and love Meow?" Gulf nodded multiple times."We promise that when we grow up, will we both get married?" said Mew. And even though Gulf didn't understand he nodded and Pinky swore to each other. It signify that a promise has been made.

Flashback ends...

"since then, I have held that you are the one I will marry. We promised each other when we were young. I never thought that all of that would come true. And yes. I will marry you." I said and Mew stood up and hugged me tightly. I also hugged him and we cried together. He took my hand and put the ring on my finger and then kissed it.We both looked at each other while smiling.

"Thank you for agreeing to marry me. I was a little nervous that you might not accept me." Mew confessed to me.

"Huh? Why won't I accept you?" I asked him.

"Don't underestimate your mood swings. I was nervous earlier and Dada added that you might not accept it. But thank you for saying yes. You don't know how much you make me happy. I won't take it any longer. I want to marry you right away." Mew replied.

"Show me what you got! And I can't wait to not marry you. Thank you for loving me since day one we met. I love you. My soon to be husband." I said.
