Time... Time was all I had. If not for the fact of keeping my helmet, I would not have even that.
[Flashback to Precinct 5]
Det.Tsukauchi: "So this is him?"
Aizawa: "..." (Looking through the one-way mirror window)
Det.Tsukauchi: "Why is he convulsing?"
Aizawa: "The best I can assume..." (Looking at the doctor inspecting the villain) "It's a drawback of his quirk."
Det.Tsukauchi: "He wasn't while wearing that. Odd, but given what he can do-"
Aizawa: "It seems fitting."
Det.Tsukauchi: "Damn."
Aizawa: (Looking at Tsukauchi) "Hmm?"
Det.Tsukauchi: "I always prayed that singularity theory wasn't true."
Aizawa: "You think so?"
Det.Tsukauchi: "Well." (Gestures to the villain) "Seems we have a shining example of a quirk the body can't control."
Aizawa: "So then how does the helmet help?"
Det.Tsukauchi: "Don't know. I've had a CSI inspect it, but they haven't a clue what the hell that thing is."
Aizawa: "Saw him wearing it outside of the warehouse. You think it came from there?"
Det.Tsukauchi: "Another unanswered question. We've tried contacting the owners, but it's always the same with them; The chief of staff says 'no' and their superior doesn't answer calls."
Aizawa: "Who?" (Raises eyebrow)
Det.Tsukauchi: "It belongs to the Yaoyorozu's..."
They satre back at the inside of the room. How I am still convulsing, and the doctor's trying to extract blood samples before the needle vaporizes.
Det.Tsukauchi: "What!" (Shocked) "I thought he was in cuffs?!"
Aizawa: "He is..."
Hizashi: (Enters the police booth) "What's up?"
Aizawa: "A new discovery... Our 'Arsonist' has abilities even with quirk dampening cuffs."
Hizashi: "How?!"
Det.Tsukauchi: "Our third great question... usually three strikes is a free coffee, which I'm going to go get. In the mean time, I'll contact the Yaoyorozu's again, and get someone to find something on that helmet."
Aizawa: "We should keep it with him."
Both the detective and the hero looked at the sleep deprived man. There facial expressions answering for them at how bad an idea they believed this statement to be.
Aizawa: "It will keep him stable. Last time he flatlined in an ambulance, I want him on the road to Tartarus without that kind of 'excitement' again.
Det.Tsukauchi: "...Fair enough I guess. If we find anyone willing to take a poke at it, I'll escort them to the penitentiary myself."
They all agreed and went about their duties. Asking questions, but me not answering them. Whether I wanted to or not.
[Back at Tartarus]
They inspected my helmet for all sorts of buttons and weapons, and despite the warden's protest, I kept it. Ironically I never got a chance to inspect it. I just commissioned it for a favor. Despite that... that poor excuse of a human being. Taking my idea for profit, but what would I expect from a one percenter. On top of being the man who funded my other problems.
