Chapter 12

Hayes POV

I got into my room and decided to take a shower. Looking at a girl as beauftiul as Jodi sure makes a boy sweat. I can't even start to explain what is like that she wanted to go on a date with me!! I feel like she is someone who truly sees me as me. I realized something though. I don't know too much about her. That I am bound to figure out.

I haven't even realized how long I was in the shower for. I of course had to sing songs way louder then they should be sang. I belted "LET IT GO!" as my encore song, then I hear my phone going off. So I wrap things up and pick it up.

What's up? Thought crossed my mind. Why did she call me 5 times. I began to panick l thought something was wrong, I pick up my phone and call her and she answers in seconds.

"Hayes! You picked up! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to annoy you calling so much , I just had to talk to you."

I said " No! You're not annoying at all! I promise! I was taking a shower and didn't realize you were callimg me. Is everything okay?"

I just prayed that she didn't change her mind about tonight, and that if course she was healthy and happy.

"Well everything is okay. I mean , well I was going to get ready for tonight, yanno.. "

"Yes." I cut her off. "If you're calling to cancel I understand."

"No. I'm not. Well kinda. Okay so I realize the only clothing I brought was this tight dress and you can't go fishing in a tight dress and im sorry and.."

"Say no more. I'll be over in like a minute." I Interrupt again. And hang up.

Jodi's POV

Hayes knocks on the the door , so I sit up and answer it. He looks so good. I mean I am starting to realize he always does. But he has on khaki shorts on and a blue vee neck that makes his beautiful blue eyes pop and he did his hair how he usually does. And he just had the biggest smile.

" You look ..wow.." I said

"You're so gorgeous.. So so so so gorgeous love." And I blushed at his compliment.

"Okay here you go." He said placing basketball shorts and a hoodie on the bed. " I figured you could wear my clothes"

"Hahah Hayes I'll look so bad! Besides they won't fit!!"

"Youll look so damned hot and who cares?"

"Fine. "

"I'll wait here."

I grabbed the clothes and went to the shower. I tried to be as quick as possible because I wouldn't want to make Hayes wait. I am so scared. What if he thinks I'm ugly in oversized clothing and doesn't want to go with me. I just need to stop stressing. I turn the water off and dry off with my towel as I look in the mirror over the sink. I just saw beauty. He is really bring the best out in me. I put on my bra and underwear and then I pull the basketball shorts on. They were so HUGE! they went past my knees. And the sweatshirt was like ginormous. But I didn't care at this point. I realized it smelled just like him. And that made me smile. He smells of the most masuline, sexy sent in the world.It was really hot. I didn't even bother with makeup. I even wore my glasses and not contacts. I know not your ideal first date attire, especially when you go with someone as unbelievably attractive as Hayes. I brush my hair out and just leave it natural. And so I finally decide that I'll go to see Hayes.

Sure enough he is sitting right where I left. He is staring at his phone, and he glances up at me .

"Holy Shit. You look hot as hell."

"Thanks," I blush.

"You look better in my clothes then I thought you would."

"Well. They look better on you."

"Shit."

"What?"

"I don't even have my fishing stuff. Well I guess we will be staying here for the night."

I smile. I am kinda releved to be honest. "Are you okay with that?" I ask.

"Jodi. I don't care what we are doing. I just want to be with you. I just want to be able to make you smile. And hear you laugh. And watch the way you look at me. And see the way you light up at silly things. And watch you blush at compliments. And everything else you do that makes you so you. It doesn't matter what happens Jodi, I just want to be with you."

"Wow. Thank you."

"Oh course. Let's do something."

"Like what?"

"Well I realized I don't know you too well... So can you tell me about you?'

I nod. " Well my name is Jodi, obviously. I may be your happiest friend ever, the sunlight to your day. I have a burning passion for music. It consumes me. It is in everything I do. I have never loved a person like I love my music, and I don't think I ever will. I play guitar, piano, and I sing. I also enjoy theater. Something about acting makes me happy. When you get to leave the person you usually are and get to be whoever you want. Like I love who I am, but sometimes being someone else takes your mind off the the problems you face. I love it. I also have sibling that support everything I do. I have 4 older brothers Jake , Josh, Luke , and Cole, and 3 older sisters Emily, Beckie, and Hannah, and one younger sister Leah. I have the bravist most down to earth , selfless smart parents in the world. My best friend is Ayanna. I've know her since literal day one. I am so happy. And I love every minute I get to live. "

"Wow. You're amazing!"

"Any questioms?" I blush.

"How old our your siblings?"

"Ohh great questions! Well Luke and Jake are the oldest, they are twins. They are 17, but turning 18 soon. Then Cole, Hannah, and Beckie are Triplets and they are 16. Then Josh and I are twins and we are 15. And Leah is 14. She had a twin, who passes away, last year." I sadly look down.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know." Hayes said.

"It was a car wreck. Her name was MaryJane. It was my Dad, Leah, Josh, Emily , Luke Maryjane, and me. We were driving to go..."

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want."

"But I do. We were going to get ice cream. It was MaryJanes idea. We ran a light and we were the center of a 5 car collision. Of course we tried to help each other out, but MaryJane was trapped we couldn't get her out. Our car was completely flipped and she was under a seat. We couldn't do anything, then the car caught on fire...."

He cut me off by kissing me. He whispered in my ear. "Its gonna be okay, I'm hear. And I nod. And we kiss again. Only this time it last longer it means more. I really like this kid. Then Trevor walks in.
