Chapter 16

Hayes POV

We are in the venue and I am sitting on the couch with jodi by my side. My arm is around her and we have been stating at each other for a really long time not saying a word. But it isn't like awkward ,like it isn't like we don't know what to say , its never like that with her. Its like words can't replace the bond we have. We are so tied up with each other that saying any words would just make this special moment a little less special. I want to kiss her though. I don't want to ruin it. She starts leaning in towards me, and kisses me on the cheek. I look at her and whisper, "Jodi. I like you a lot."

"Hayes. I like you a lot." She breathed so quietly it was barely a whisper.

We stared again. My mind is in a million in one places. She really likes me and I really like her and I want to make a move, but something tells me I can't like it is too soon.

"Tell me Jodi, how was today? Yanno, with Trevor?"

"It was okay." She looked down.

"Just okay?"

FLASHBACK TO THIS MORNING

Jodi's POV

I awoke it my room by my alarm. I called Ayanna and then I remembered how I have a date with Trevor. I mean I am not gonna lie I am VERY excited. Like who gets a date with Trevor!! He obviously has feeling for me. It is only complicated because I know Hayes does too. I know I have feels for Hayes, but it isn't like I gave Trevor a chance at all. In all honestly he really deserves one. Everyone does. Espiecally if it is my choice. Like I barely know him! My thoughts scan through every thing happening right now as I wash my hair and body in a shower. I get out and tried to figured out what to wear. I settled on a pair of high waisted shorts and a cropped top. The cropped top showed some skin, but it was still so cute. The pink color of the top makes my Tan look really nice! I just got back from Hawii a few weeks ago so I have a great tan! I decide to braid my long hair into a fishtale. And I put a white bow at the bottom of my braid to match the white writing on the crop top that just in the shape of a "#." I did natural makeup. I just stuck to foundation, blush, mascara, and lip gloss. I pull out the sandels I got yesterday that match perfectly. I then put on a heart neckless, which is so cute. I then take one last look and thought I looked good enough. Then I heard a knock on the door. I run to the door like an excited puppy. I open it and see Trevor. "Heyyy!!!" I exclaim as I hug him and invite him in.

"Hey Jodi! You look absolutely gorgeous!"

"Awwe thank you!" I blush. "You don't look too bad yourself."

"That's reassuring because I'll look like complete shit next to a girl as pretty as you."

"Aww you're so sweet!"

"Just saying the truth."

I smile , "I am almost ready" I walk into he bathroom and I grab my phone and I look in the mirror and smile. He is making me really happy. Like ugh. I am excited. I walk out. "Ready."

"After you gorgeous." He says opening the door for me. He is so sweet.

"Thank you. Trevor!"

"Alright so how much time do I have with the one and only Jodi?"

"Like 2.5-3 hours?"

"I will use every minute."

"Where are we going?"

"A little restaurant around the corner , its called 'Bella's Breakfast' absolutely incredible lemme tell you."

"Yum. Sounds good Trev!"

Shiit. I didn't mean that. "Trevor. I am sorry I meant Trevor. I didn't mean it. I am sorry. Trevor."

"No. I love it. And it is also really attractive when you say you my name a lot."
That's what Hayes said.

"Okay. Trev!"

"Ah. You're hot!"

"Hahah" I laugh at him. He is doing a little dance own the road and he grabbs ny hand. He is so funny.

"You're really funny," I compliment.

"Well I usually don't act like this I swear ," he blushes . "its just when I am with a pretty girl like you, every part of me just wants to make you smile ,because I when you smile and I think 'wow I made her smile. That beautiful smile was brought on by me.' And by the way you have the prettiest smile. And I wanted to keep making you laugh , because your laugh is so cute. Jodi. You're so cute. I love it." We walk inside and sit down and order some food.

"That might have been one of the best things someone has ever told me."

"Oh really?" He smirks. "Well, if you say yes to me. You will be hearing them all the time. With true emotion. I will mean every single word."

I smile. I don't know what to say, or even if I should smile. This whole time he is talking Hayes is in the back of my head. I can't get him out. I need to get him out of my head. It is Trevor's turn.

"Can I kiss you?" He asks.

I look down. I don't known what to say. I was making out with Hayes last night, I don't want to play them. He obviously saw concern on my face because he says ," its okay if you say no. It was only a question."

"No. You can!" I kinda wanna kiss him.

His lips barely touch mine then they leave.

"Thank you," he says.

"Was that it?"

"Yes. That's all I'm doing on a first date. If I were to do more I would fear taking advantage of you. Which I would NEVER do."

I gulp.

This is so crazy.

We kept conversation. Going and he is so sweet. He makes me feel like millions of dollars.

After we finished he bought our meals and we walked through the park hand in hand for the remanded of the time and he dropped me off. And i started to get ready for MAGCON. And of course Hayes and I's date. I can't play them like this. I don't know who to choose though.

back to Hayes POV

"Maybe a little more then okay. I mean I had fun. And that's what matters right?"
I want her to pick right but something about him making her have "fun" makes me mad. Like I want to be the only guy who makes her have fun. She thought it was more then okay. I can't.

"That's good."

"Yeah." Yeah? Okay then. I need to know more.

"Did he try to kiss you?"

"Yes." What? That sun of bitch! He can't kiss her! She is mine!!! I tried to hide my anger but I obviously didn't do a very good job and I saw it on her face and so I stood up to walk away and she stops me. She grabs my arms .

"Sit down, please." I sit I want to hear her try explain this. I know she won't want me to punch him but I want to.

"Did you like it? Do you like him" I spit out. But with sadness in my voice.

"It wasn't like that. It wasn't like what you're thinking." What?

Look at me. I'll show you what he did. I nod. And she pecks me.

"That's it?"

"Yes."

"Oh wow. "

"You have nothing to worry about." I am so relieved. I kissed her and said " I can't wait for tonight!"
