Chapter 22

Jodis PoV

I'm so scared right now. Like I don't like being stuck in spaces. I'm so scared of elevators now. I've never actually got stuck in one but now that I have been for just a few seconds I hate them. But lemme tell you something about being in Hayes arms makes it okay though. I feel so much safer. I feel like even if I'm stuck I here forever it will be okay.

"Thank you, Hayes." I said kissing his check.

"For what Babygirl?"

"Making me feel safe."

"Awe. Babe. I will always make you feel safe."

"So are we going to make the most of this or what." I wink at him and move my body so instead of sitting next to him I was straddling him.

"Woah. Are you suggesting elevator sex?"

"Oh you wish." I say staring into his eyes.

Hayes PoV

I'm extremely happy this elevator stopped but I hope we get to go on this date though. I just like the idea of making her feel safe. we are forehead to forehead and I go in and kiss her and we are full on making out. The way our mouths move in unison is so incredible. She pulls down to my neck and .." ohh fuck .. oh gosh.." and at that second I feel something shoot up. oh shit. "fuck." And then she stops. and pulls away and gets off me and sits on the opposite side of the elevator. and looks the other way. "Hey what's wrong?" And she looks at me and sighs. And so I get up and walk over to her. I don't know what I did. I really hope I didn't do a thing. I sit down next to here and I open my arms. "Come here." and She did and rested her head on chest. "Talk to me babe."

"Hayes, we aren't even dating. look what we are doing." she says. and I mean I guess she is right.

"Hey Jodi. I had this for entire date planned out and this is not one of the things I planned for, I promise. Just give me to the end of tonight okay."

"Hayes, I'm not saying this your fault or that Im leaving you or anything. I'm just hating myself." She looks down and that second my heart broke and held we even tighter. seeing someone you care about hurt is the worst thing in the world.

"Why?" I ask.

"Hayes it's okay if you leave me you know." Why does she think I'll leave her. " I'm sorry. I am really sorry. I mean after all you can have any girl you want and you'll probably get bored with me I'm boring after all. And I'm sorry I was easy and being a slut-" and I stopped her by putting my finger to her lip. I used it to whip a tear away from her eye.

"Don't ever say those things about yourself okay you're incredible. Unbelievable. And it's you I want. Trust me. I won't ever leave you Don't be sorry okay you're amazing. You're in no way shape or form slutty. Hey a relationship is about a bond not a title. And we have that bond so you have nothing to be upset about."

And she smiles and kisses my lips. "I panick in these situations I'm sorry you had to see me so vulnerable."

"Vulnerability makes a relationship work."

"You keep me strong." She whispers as she hugs me and tickle her side and she starts cracking up. she threw her hands in the air and started tickling me back. We didn't really make out much more because of her little incident but thats okay. I'm still with her.

1 hour and a half later

"oh my gosh we need to get out of here." she said.

"tell me about it. I have a. whole date planned."
and then doors open and she screams ." YAYYAY" as she runs out and when we get out she embraces me into a hug. "Let's go gettem Jodi."

"We can't do the begging of the date I had planned because of how long we were in the elevator so we are just going to do the second half."

"Okay kiddo." And our hands intertwined as we. walked down the rode. and we pulled up at an ice cream shop. We ordered the same thing Double chocolate chip. Then we took a ton of pictures with it and together and laughed and laughed and laughed.

Jodis PoV

we literally just got ice cream and it is the greatest. I wonder what else he has in store for us.

"Follow me." he said. Leading me to this field. It was empty except for a blanket on the group surround by candles. there was a picnic basket too. We got down to the blanket and he said "I put a little something together for you."

"oh . my. gosh." I say and I hug him and I kiss him. I don't even care how I appear to be.

We sit down and he pulls out some flowers and says "Jodi I have been wanted to asking you this away. I just wanted to do it right. it had to be the right time and place. believe me I know you're the right girl. and I wanted more the. anything to ask this in the elevator. but Jodi will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes yes yes of course I will." I say as I pull him into a hug and we started to make out a lot.

He says, " I thought we could watch the starts so I brought some of your favorite .." he said opening the basket.

"CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES HOW DID YOU KNOW?"

"I'm just good what can I say?"

"the best!!!"

"I also brought this.. I wanna hear you play." he says as he pulls out a guitar.

"I'd love to play you a song baby." I say as I take the guitar from his hands and start to play.
