Unforgettable Experience.

It was a bright morning at the manor. The castle-like manor was a complete drag. Usually places like this would be a sight to revel in. But for the kids, there was nothing for Ethan and Lula to do except play hide and seek in such a place like this. It eventually got boring and even if they tried to play it, there would be a couple accidents where a vase or other expensive items would get knocked over and the parents would lose their mind. It was a constant cycle of the kids having to pout and say sorry for what they caused. Their step-mother never really grew a liking to them. Their mother didn't make it in the process of giving birth to both of the twins. The father loved his two kids but was always occupied with business for nearly the whole day for the entire weekdays.

The weekends were the only two days where he could get a bit of rest. Although, he couldn't help but feel like his kid's childhood was going to waste and was going to be suffering from a dark hole of dissatisfaction and regret for the rest of their lives. Ethan would try something new like playing with a stick, only to get scolded by his mom.

Lula would just be sulking and walking around and sitting on the floor toying with some bug on the floor or out in the backyard. The stepmother felt it was a waste of time. The kids had recently finished their 1st grade and were on their summer vacation. The dad came home on an eventful friday. His step wife was out busy running some errands. His kids were constantly on his mind. He wanted to give them an experience they will never forget during this summer vacation. Something memorable and something they would never regret. The father pulled out his laptop. He was free tomorrow as it was the weekend. He had personally asked for a day off on Saturday once this thought was stuck on his mind. In an instant, he had found it. This was something his parents could never give him, and this was an experience he wanted to give to his kids. He realized this was his chance to take.

The truth was that he hated seeing his kids, especially his sweet daughter moping around the house. He couldn't remember the last time he saw his two royalties smile, his two prides smile, and it practically disturbed him. They worked hard at their school, exceeding expectations. They deserved this.

"This would make a good bonding trip as well." the father thought.

He booked his three tickets and ran in excitement upstairs to his kid's room. The two got along so well that they decided to share a room. A bed on the left and one on the right with a drawer. It was a small room with one closet which was used as a storage pile. The drawer had all their clothes. A small and efficient setup when getting ready for school. He knocked on the door and the dad could see smiles lighting up on Lula and Ethan's face when they saw their father. As the kids always liked to describe it, "The sight of their father always calmed down, unlike their stepmother who seemed to tolerate them for the sake of it." The stepmother didn't want to stir up any drama even though it is a common event in any household. "My kids!" The father said excitedly. "We are going to have an exciting experience that none your age has ever had before! It's a surprise. No spoilers!" The kids groaned. The dad smiled and assured them "I promise it'll be worth it!" Tomorrow morning, the dad booked the earliest taxi at noon when the sun was beating down hotter than ever with a piercing light. No traffic and an empty driveway like expected and a white jet landed in front of them. The kids were in awe and were bursting with excitement while the father laughed. The jet plane looked recently built, made, and furnished. "Hop on! You'll enjoy it." The father said. The jet instantly skyrocketed from the ground. The kids couldn't contain their undying excitement from the wind beating at their faces. The jet spun around, firing missiles at a couple dummy targets. "Hold on tight sis!" Ethan warned, holding on for dear life. He had a scare for heights, and he didn't come out of the roller coasters in one piece. The dad enjoyed this a lot more than he expected of the bright skies and the experience reminding him more of his athletic days. They clutched onto the bar for dear life as the jet headed over buildings, showing off an amazing sight. "So worth the money!" Lula said, in a state of awe at the amazing view. "Soak it all in because this is the final showing," the father yelled. He had his hands in the air, screaming louder than Oprah. Slowly but steadily, the jet went down on the noise and Ethan screeched out of fear at the sudden dip and fall. The family once went bungee jumping once and Ethan kept yelling at the fact, he felt like he was a rat hanging around in a piece of string. He always hated moments he felt like he was crashing down. A painful death was what he thought of when that happened. Of course, it proved a lot of fun, it never ceased to scare him, like when the jet soared down, but landed safely. Like a perfect ending.

Overall, the ride was amazing as the plane flew all over the plane and the ride was anything but quiet as the dad constantly covered his ears due to his kids screaming their hearts out along with the sound of engines. All in all, flying and spinning all over the place feeling free had the father feel like a teenager once again living wild in the cloudy skies. It's a bit of understatement to say that this was a memorable experience to never forget and fair to say exceeded expectations. The kids ended up becoming more demanding than ever, wearing the father out.
