Often people say, take a step ahead and find the world on your feet. But why do they say, take one step ahead, why not two, three, or four? Probably because once you step forward, your second foot voluntarily lifts in the air, ready to take the next step, then the next step, and so on.
Raze remembers the first day all these started. He knows that he can't fulfil his wish with his single power. People say; you start something, and people will eventually join you. Maybe that's what has happened here.
Raze watched Amias giving instructions and glancing from tablet to laptop from time to time. He sips tea while looking at his watch and steps towards the balcony. He stood in front of the vast view as far as his eyes could reach, and he could see the tiny cars. It feels, amazing to stand on top and everyone needs to tilt their head up to look at him. However, they can't open their eyes to look straight at him. After all, Sun is the brightest star.
He saw two choppers flying in the air in the dense forest area. He knows those copters belong to him. The black colour mingled with the dark blanket of the sky. Those blades tearing the air and moving forward. The sound resonated from afar. He tilts his head to the side, watching them moving towards him at a constant pace. He cracks his neck as the two helicopters spin in opposite directions.
"Boss, within two minutes, all the trucks will reach the check posts, " Amias informs, standing behind him as he gazed at those copters moving towards the shore.
"What about the submarine?" Raze asked, sipping his tea and humming with the taste.
"It's waiting deep in the far waters of the island. Navy force will be a big obstacle, Boss. How will we tackle them?" Amias asked, looking at his watch and counting each second as one minute and forty-five seconds left.
"It won't be an issue," Raze replied, emptying the cup and looking at Amias. "I will handle them,"
Amias wanted to ask further. However, he stopped when its almost a minute to reach the first checkpoint.
[Sir Amias, we have reached. Officers are checking the vehicles.] Reply from first truck.
[Yes, even we have reached. There is a long line.] Reply from the second truck.
[Same, and here the officers are checking inside the trucks, using metal detectors.] Reply from the third truck.
Amias hums, glancing at Raze, turning around and calling someone.
"Was everything prepared for those trucks, Elio? Just as we planned."
[Yeah, the first truck has been loaded with aluminium fabrications. So, even if the metal detector is used they won't know what's hidden behind them.]
The first truck stopped as an officer checked legal papers, vehicle registration and other things. Another officer walked to the truck's trunk and asked the driver to open it. The driver opened it as the officers peeked inside, noticing the aluminium fabrications, glasses, and marbles. He nodded his head after scanning everything carefully.
"Everything is fine here." The second officer informs the first one. The first officer nodded, giving the legal papers back to the driver.
"Let this truck go," The officer gestures to them to open the gates.
"Thank you, officers." The driver said with a smile.
"We crossed, sir." The driver whispered, wearing his Bluetooth again while driving away.
[Brilliant!]
Amias spoke while Elio heaved a sigh. Ok, the first obstacle crossed. Now, for the second one.
