Reading
Reading; day, day out. I work with my best friend john in his book store. I love reading. Nerd right, not always,I was very popular in school. I was captain of every sport team we had. I could have anyone I wanted I had scholarships lined up for me. All I had to do was choose a school. I choose love instead. I was going to move with my babe. Until one day she left out of the blue out of no where. i was crushed, i didn't understand why. I blamed myself for the longest time. by the time i snap out of it, it was too late to accept any of the scholarships. I did graduate, not top of my class. Just like a normal student so here I've been reading my life way. I like to imagine that someday my life would become like one of the books i read. I caught myself day dreaming lately. What would happen if she walked through the doors to the book shop? what would she look like? would i even recognize her? would she even remember me? that thought made my sad, i hope she would. I mean its a smaller town so not many people come in to the book store.
The bell goes off and pulls me away from my thoughts. As I look up i see this ombry haired girl walk in. She grabs a book and sits down on the floor towards the back coner. She looks up and i just smile. she looks like someone i once loved. She even sat right where i would back in high school. great now i have to deal with all the flashbacks. at least my flashbacks make me smile.
i didn't even realize i was crying until John came and asked if i was alright.
