Logan Matthews had been at the orphanage since he was born. He had been waiting for someone to adopt him for as long as he knew but no one ever noticed him. He wanted a family more than anything he was still young enough to be loved and taken care of but no one ever would. Another adoption day came. All the kids ran to meet their potential parents. They all lined up and waited for someone to pick them. They all wanted a new home and a new family. A family was talking to Logan's best friend at the orphanage. Logan hoped they would adopt him Blake deserved a family. A few minutes later, Blake ran over to Logan.
"They want to adopt me." Blake said "I told them that I didn't want to be adopted without you." Logan looked over at the family and smiled hopeful but the family shook their head and decided to take another kid. Logan ran back to his room, laid on his bed and cried. He was never gonna find his forever family. Blake came in a few minutes later and sat down next to Logan.
"Why doesn't anyone want to adopt me?" Logan asked. "What did I do wrong?" Blake hugged Logan.
"We will find our family. We are going to be brothers forever." Blake said. Logan looked at Blake with tear-filled eyes.
"You mean it?" Logan asked. Blake nodded. "Thank you." Blake smiled.
"I love you Logan." Blake said.
"I love you too Blakey." Logan told him.
The next day, a family showed up at the orphanage and told Mrs. Graham that they wanted to foster Logan and Blake. Mrs. Graham had the family fill out the necessary paperwork then helped the boys pack their stuff but before they had the chance to leave the family changed their minds. They didn't want Logan anymore. So, Blake and Logan still weren't going to get adopted.
