Third person point of view

He turns around.

And there he was.

The most beautiful masterpiece he have ever seen.

"Zero."

He calls his name, bringing butterflies again to his stomach.

Zero smiled.

"You came."

He was happy to see the younger.

He was more than happy.

He was relieved.

"But Zero...this is..." Khyle stammers, looking at all the paintings hanging on the walls.

It was all him.

"I mean...why...." He couldn't complete his sentences, he was too flustered to see all the paintings with him in each of it.

"Khyle..." Zero comes up to him and hugged him without hesitation.

"You are the art all along." He whispers as he hugged the younger.

He then backs away to look at Khyle's face, cupping it gently.

"I-I don't understand...why are you-"

"This is my confession." Zero cuts him off.

"This is me expressing my feelings for you." He continued.

"I'm glad it's you."

"always been."

Khyle was dumbfounded.

Only looking at Zero's eyes as they look back at his too.

He was unable to say anything.

He was in a total blackout.

He couldn't move a muscle.

He just malfunctioned.

All the feelings.

All the anxiety.

Nervousness.

Gratefulness.

Everything.

It just stirred up inside him.

He just couldn't do anything but to cry.

He sniffles at first, letting the first tear drop.

Until Zero hugs him again so he bawled onto his shirt helplessly, while the older just caressed his back and his hair gently.

Once he calmed down, he was able to form his thoughts into words.

"You're not joking right?" He asks to confirm,

"Because I've been keeping it for a long time as well."

Khyle sniffles.

"It's okay..." Zero whispers as he caressed Khyle's head and pulls him closer.

"I like you Zero...like a lot."

"I like you too a lot, Khyle."

"Please tell me this isn't a dream." Khyle sniffles, hiding against Zero's chest.

Zero chuckled lightly, thinking he looks so cute and tiny doing that.

"Look at me."

He says and held Khyle's face with both hands, lifting up his gaze until their eyes both meet while the younger's arms are still wrapped around his waist.

Zero smiled and leaned in to kiss Khyle's temple softly

He always wanted to do this.

And he was glad he finally did.

"Does this look like a dream to you?" He asked.

Khyle nodded while he looks up at him.

Zero chuckled lightly.

"You're so cute." He says.

"Is this where we're going to kiss?" Khyle asked.

"Is it okay if I kiss you?" Zero asks, already caressing the younger's cheeks.

Khyle nods shyly.

Zero smiles and leans in without hesitation, feeling the other's lips against his own, kissing him softly full of love and assurance.

This isn't a dream.

This is real.

and this is how the story ends.
