Chapter Fourteen

{ Autumn }

After that me and Cole went to lunch. I don't really know if we are official yet but it felt pretty good. He was sitting next me talking about a little get together with the boys that's tomorrow. I wasn't really paying attention. I sighed nodding at every word he said but mainly gawking because and forth from his eyes to his lips. Which I cant wait to claim to be mine and only I could have them.

" Helloo Earth to Autumn." He snapped his fingers in front of me snapping me and out of my day dream. " Huh? What....Yeah." I nodded taking a sip of my drink.

" You Alright? You kinda dozed out there" he frowned his brows. I nodded again. He sat back and crossed his arms " Okay then.. what did I just say if you were listening. " gosh he sounds like Tori and Jessica. I looked at him dumbfounded for a moment...which turned into 3 minutes. " Uuuuuuuuuuuuh yooou saaaaiiidd something about a get together with the booys tomorrow??" okay that came out more like question . He shook his head leaning over and grabbed my hand from across the table. " I saaaaid. That tonight I have to go to a party for work and I was wondering about if you wanted to go with me as a collogue and a - date?" I finished his sentence. He slightly nodded causing me to smirk. I leaned in a bit resting my chin in the palm of my hand. " Ya see I would looove to be there but uh I have something else to do. " he frowned a bit.

" I'm joking of coarse, but what about your little " GirlFriend" I added quotations around 'Girlfriend'. Knowingly they broke up hours after I showed up...because she ' ' accidently' ' walked in on us hugging and let's just say that didn't turned out as I hoped it would. " Well we have to be there around 9. And it's 7:45 now. So c'mon I'll take you home. " he got up, paid the bill and held out his hand for me to take.

*Skips drive home*

" So I'll pick you up at 8:15.?" I nodded and kissed his cheek. " See you later Cole." I smiled getting out and running inside to get ready. I also called the girls over to help me to choose what to wear. " how about this" I asked them for the 50th time holding up a blue dress (in media/ pretend her hair is brown). Their eyes lit up. " Oh MY GOSH! He's gonna love you in this." Tori gasped. " So I take that as a yes?" the nodded shooing off to go change. I quickly slipped it on and put on matching pumps.  I walked out spinning around. " You. Look. Beautiful Addie. " Krissy added. Yes she called me Addie...since they couldn't make a name out of  'Autumn' in high school they started calling me ' Addie'. I smiled " Thanks Krissy. And also thanks to you girls. I don't know WHAT I would do without you! " I hugged them. " Is this a date date or a date." Tori asked me laying on her stomach. Hmm is it? Before I could answer the door bell ringed. The girls squealed  and jumped up from the bed sprinting down stairs.

I groaned. Gosh I never been so nervous.

I slowly walked downstairs hearing the girls interrogate the poor guy. " Yes I will have her home by 12. " Cole chuckled at them causing me to giggled. Their eyes snapped towards me as I walked down the last few stairs. I watched his eyes as the lit up like the 4th of July. " Wow " I heard him say making my face heat up. " You look. Amazing." he was kinda staring with his mouth parted. Krissy looked at him with her arms crossed. " Honey close your mouth, you'll catch flies. " she smirked. " Ready to go?" I asked looking up at him. " Awwe aren't they cute...no run along children before you're late, don't worry we'll be here when you get back and she better be here before 12 o o on the dot and any later than that I swear- OKAY BYE" I dragged him the door before they could say anymore.

He chuckled " They're a handful. " I laughed and nodded. " Tell me about it" he stepped in-front of me opening the door. " Thank you" I whispered smiling. He nodded shutting my door and walked to the other side getting in.

It took us at least 30 minutes tops to get to this party for whatever invent he was saying. We got out and photographers were everywhere crowding the main entrance. Gosh I strongly dislike them. Cole grabbed my hand speed walking kinda trying to get inside quickly without answering any of their questions.  

Soon as we got there I was greeted with a large interior. And it was gorgeous. " C'mon I want you meet some people. " he tugged me over to a group of people. An older lady who was shorter than him greeted him with a hug. " It's so nice to see you." she kissed his cheek. " Uh. Oh Guys this Autumn. My girlfriends. Autumn meet my Best friend Marcus , My Father Scott and my older sister Kylee. " he introduced me. My attention snapped to him and back to the people before us. That's the first time I've ever heard him call me that. I shyly waved holding my hand out. " Nice to meet you. " Kylee looked at it and pulled me into a hug catching me off guard. "It's so nice to finally meet the woman my baby brother has been blabbering about. " She rubbed back pulling away smiling. " My pleasure. And blabbering? " I raised an eyebrow glancing at Cole who was trying to hide his blushing. " Oh yeah he wouldn't shut up about you. " His best friend Marcus said causing Mr. Pendery to laugh, nodding agreement.

" Well I'm gonna finish showing Autumn around I'll see you guys later" he waved grabbing my hand. This hole evening we went around talking to other people that were there. Some recognized me because of my parents.

" Excuse me for a moment. I'll be back. " I pulled away from his grip and kissed his cheek. I walked to the bathroom and bumped into someone. " Oh I'm so sorry are you okay. " I said to the male I almost knocked over. Which by the way he's built I don't think that's even possible. And he was also gorgeous. Unlike Cole there is not competition the but he's cute. " Oh no you're okay. Please it was my fault" he smiled at me. We just stood there for a moment not talking until I awkwardly help my hand out. Before we could say anything a hand grasp mine pulling me away from the guy. " Colton." I heard the man of my dreams say. But not in a nicely manner. It was more of a sarcastic greeting. If that makes sense.

" Well look what the wind blew in. " the guy gave Cole a toothless smile. Cole hummed in response. " Autumn this is- Colton Haynes." he finished. I gave him a smile nodding. They look like they were having a staring contest or something.

" Are you too friends or..?" I asked snapping them out of their mental battle or whatever they were staring at each other in a challenging way. " Yeeeah old pals" Cole said through a clenched jaw slightly glaring at Colton. Okay I feel the love radiating. " So who is this dime that you have with you? " Colton asked taking a sip of his drink.

I looked up at Cole. I could tell he was getting angry but then slightly smirked at Colton. " This is Autumn. " he paused looking down at me. " My Girlfriend " I smiled when he kissed me temple. Colton didn't seem really phased. " I just curious....how'd you end up with a masterpiece such as Autumn? I mean I'm sure Cassidy wouldn't like to you wrapped around another girl now would she?"

He smirked back at Cole. Who's Cassidy? I looked up at Cole who had a pang of hurt and anger  in his eyes. I frowned my brows. " You mean Cassie ?"

He shook his head still having his eyes locked with Coles. " Who's Cassidy?"....

So here is 13. I hope you guys liked it. Something is about happen don't know what but I can feel it xD. But I'm gonna be posting a little teaser of THE SEQUEL OF DARK BLUE on my message board this week so pay really close attention.
