An: Okay, by popular demand, and by popular demand, I mean my lazy ass doesn't want to keep on changing the POV to represent the relationship, so I will now be writing only in 3rd person. Laziness for the win.

Boston gave a whistle as Stiles hopped into his jeep. "Getting pretty wild with tall dark and handsome in there," Stiles had the decency to look a little embarrassed. "I hear there's a party tonight at Heather's, did you invite your alpha friend? Or are you going with Ethan?" Stiles' phone chimed and he looked at Derek's name at the top of the screen.

"You are not going with Ethan to a party," Stiles read aloud, "stop creeping on our conversations!" Stiles yelled, turning his body towards the house. He had a sly grin on his face and he started his engine.

"Oh, is someone jealous!" Tanya grinned right back at Stiles. Immediately Stiles' phone chimed.

"I am not jealous," Stiles busted out laughing with the others, "Derek, do you want to come with us to this party?" Stiles waited for a response and nearly jumped out of his skin when Derek opened his passenger door. Boston and Tanya gave halfhearted waves when he climbed in.

"Of course I am going," he buckled his seat belt and turned to Stiles.

"Whatever you say," Stiles drove them to the cul-de-sac where the party was obviously in full swing. The group hopped out and headed inside. Boston and Tanya immediately split off to do their own thing when Stiles' phone buzzed. This time it was Heather asking where he was.

"Stiles?" She excitedly ran up to him and basically jumped into his arms. Derek stiffly watched this happen from just behind him.

"Aren't you popular," the alpha said flatly.

"We're going to catch up with you," Tanya stated as she was pulled away by Boston to the dance floor.

"Oh my god, and who is this incredibly cute man? Is this your boyfriend?" Heather drunkenly slid off Stiles to prod at Derek's cheek.

"Yes, he is, and where is your girlfriend, Danielle?"

"Girlfriend?" Derek looked to Stiles as if understanding started to grow inside him.

"Yeah, when Stiles said he liked Lydia, I said Fuck. Yes." She smiled and fell back clearly drunk onto a woman who had caught her, "Danielle, I missed you. This is it. I can feel that tonight is the night! You and me." And Heather dragged the woman up the stairs.

"Do you think the twins will show?" Derek asked leaning into Stiles.

"Look right there," Stiles pointed and there Ethan was, making out with Danny from the lacrosse team and Aiden clearly trying to get Lydia to talk to him. Derek hummed in his ear in acknowledgment. Stiles eyed Heather's pool, "you wanna go swim?"

"I don't have a swim suit on," Derek said a little disappointed.

"I guess we'll just have to take these off you then," Stiles grabbed at Derek's pants and the two swayed a little to the heavy beat of the music. Derek smiled and pulled him into his chest, the two found their way to a couch. Stiles wanted to go for a drink, but Derek slapped his hand out of the way, "you're no fun."

"No drinking when you are under 21," Derek stated then pulled him in for a long kiss, "and I am lots of fun." Stiles didn't know how long they'd been making out on the couch before someone tapped him on the shoulder. It was Tanya who looked a little concerned.

"Do you know where your friend went? I think her girlfriend is looking for her, also the twins are gone," Stiles pushed up from Derek's chest. Boston, who was a smidge taller than the majority of the guests at the party, was on his tippy toes looking for the dirty blonde woman.

"Did you know it's her 18th birthday?" Stiles asked the pair behind him as he opened the cellar door, "we used to come down here and she swore that if she was going to get some action, it'd be right here on her birthday." The three made their way down the steps when Derek grabbed Stiles' shoulder.

"Something smells," he walked around the steps so he was in front of Stiles, "it's fear. I think I smell her afraid." Derek got to the bottom of the steps and looked around, but nothing was there.

"Something weird happened here, I can just tell," Tanya shuddered a little bit.

"She's not here," Stiles said with some finality, worry etched his world like a mortal wound, "we need to find her, like right now," he started up the stairs. Derek stayed at the bottom floor with his eyes closed trying to discern what happened.

"Have you seen Heather?" Her girlfriend started frantically looking around, "I just went upstairs for a second, I came back down... has anyone seen her?" Danielle passed by the party goers.

"Tanya, Boston, can you check out back?" Stiles asked as he reached the top of the stairs. It felt like they were the only ones searching in the sea of people in the party, Derek had finally gotten up the steps behind Stiles, and the group marched outside. The zombies hustled behind the house but returned on the opposite side with shrugs.

"No signs of being dragged or a fight, just some puke," Tanya said.

"There's no scent of her out here," Derek took a couple of deep breaths through his nose, "nothing leads her outside of the house. Maybe she's partying upstairs or got lost in the crowd?"

"Then why did she smell afraid?" Stiles looked at Derek's worried face and couldn't help but mirror it. Eventually, they had to go home as the party died and Danielle was in complete distress. Stiles drove back to his house with his heart pounding, the anxiety from not knowing what happened to Heather was gushing out of his breath. Derek put a hand onto his arm to help calm him down. His phone started to ring when he heard a faint scream from somewhere, again.

"Stiles?" Boston questioned from the backseat, "what's wrong? Why aren't you picking up your phone?"

"It's that scream," Stiles fished out his phone.

"The one like Lydia?" Tanya asked as Stiles looked down at the name on the phone.

"Exactly," Stiles put it to his ear, "what's up Lyds."

"Someone's dead." She started and Stiles immediately looked to Derek as they sat in silence.

"I think," Stiles choked a little, "I think I know who just died."
