I literally scold myself for ever getting in trouble in the first place. seriously. Who gets detentions in the first month of school? even though I am a senior, they shouldnt be so quick to start cracking down of tardies. Its NOT like I pulled the fire alarm, or anything.  But still. I am the only one to blame for being in this situation.

I tried to ignore the thoughts in my mind as I began making my way to the office and away from the horrible nightmare of a detention room. As much as I would like to just leave the school right now and indulge myself into a good afternoon nap, I had a problem with my schedule and needed to get it changed as soon as possible before they stop taking requests.

"Hello?" I asked the lady who sat behind the front desk "Im here to talk to my counselor." Your counselor was the one who you had to go through before you could make even the slightest change to one of your classes. Some people were fairly close and friendly to their person, but I, I only knew the ladys name.

"Alright, go on ahead." I walked passed the desk and looked inside the small room that would indeed contain my very own counselor.

"Hi. I was wanting to make a schedule change?" She looked up at me and gave a fake smile.

"Alrighty, what class you wanting to toss?"

"Honors Precalculus. I want to change into just a regular class." I absolutely hated that class. I knew nobody in there, I was given a pile of homework all the time, even on the first day, and it was just way to hard.  She nodded and looked at her computer as she began typing.

"Whats your name?"

"Caprice Panetta" I stated, watching her.  The room fell into an awkward silence as she clicked on multiple things. After several moments passed, she finally looked up at me "Alright. there was an open class that was able to fill the empty space perfectly. youre new schedule is being printed out now." I nodded

"Thank you." I made my way to the door.

"It was no problem." I opened the door and stepped outside and over to the printer. grabbing my schedule, I quickly left the school
