You in your mind: Who is this man? He is so handsome... pouty lips, cute nose, golden eyes... Wait, what?? Golden eyes??? And did I just hear him growl? What the hell is happening? Is he a vampire or something? Do vampires really exist? But I think they have red eyes... but what does- oh no he is looking at me now... maybe I should just act losing consciousness again and he may leave me alone...

With that, you closed your eyes again. Jungkook on the other hand smirked.

Jungkook in his mind: Too bad, mate. I can hear you speak in your mind. And I won't leave you alone, ever. I would wait for you to open up to me and then make you understand what we are for each other. For now, I'll leave you alone, even though I don't want to. But if I go any closer to you, I think, King will try to take over. He is growing impatient and I doubt, I would be able to stop him, coz I feel the same as well. I need to inform my beta and gamma about her, so they know who she is. They should sense it if she really is the one. Luna queen is no joke. 

Just as he was about to turn around and go back to his office cabin, his beta, Taehyung came there.

Taehyung: Alpha king Jungkook. I was on my way to your cabin to tell you about her. But I didn't find you there so I came down here. Did you see her already?

Jungkook: What do you mean? Are you the one who found her?

Taehyung: When I was going through the woods on my usual rounds, I got a scent almost similar to yours. So, I started following it. But then I saw, a group of people being chased by rogues. They were not normal rogues. They looked mutated. They had so much more energy and aggression and were attacking the source of the scent which was like yours.

Jungkook: What do you mean by scent like mine?

Taehyung: In legend, it is said that mates have almost similar scents. So when I got that scent, I, for a moment felt that it was you there or... or... your mate.... Our Luna... our Luna queen, so I had to rescue her at all costs, even if it means giving up my life. And I was right. It was a girl they were chasing. So I jumped to save her just when that rogue was about to bite her neck.

Jungkook: What??? It specifically attacked her???

Taehyung: Positive, so I think that somewhere it was all planned.

Jungkook: How can it be planned when I, myself found out about her just now?

Taehyung: I have no idea, but I did what I had to, towards my Luna.

Just then in Jungkook's mind, king started speaking.

King: Aahhh....it sounds so sweet when he refers to her as his Luna. It is like music to my ears.

Jungkook: Just stop talking. You were at the back of my head, so why are you paying attention to my conversations?

King: I am you and you are me. We are one. So, I have not much of a choice. Plus, I also wanted to know what exactly happened that led her to be in that condition.

Jungkook: We need to find out who has been tracking her and why.

Taehyung: I think you are talking to King.

Jungkook: Yeah. He is more than happy to find about her.

Taehyung: I can understand. We have that rogue in the torture chamber. I didn't fully kill him. but I kept him a bit alive to get answers. I know you would want that too.

Jungkook: Good job. Let's go check on him. Take your Luna to the care chamber. She needs to rest for her to recover fast.

Taehyung: That rogue also had some kind of herbs in his paws.

Jungkook: Let the doctor see to it. Or even better, let the witch doctor check on her. She will be able to tell the exact reason why the herb was present with him.

Taehyung: It was definitely meant to do something to Luna.

Jungkook: Yeah. But what, is the question here. And that, only she will be able to answer.

Since Jungkook knew that you were actually awake, he mind-linked Taehyung to not disclose to you about them being wolves. And he also told him that you are awake and to get you for dinner. He then took one last look at your acting form and smiled to himself. Taehyung saw him smile and turned to look at you who was still acting unconscious. You had no clue that they, being wolves, could sense your accelerated heartbeats, knowing that you are awake as well as sense your fears. However, reading what's in your mind is something which only Jungkook could do, since he is your mate.

Meanwhile you in your mind: Why are all the guys so good looking here? Specially the one with golden eyes. Hahaha... I'm definitely hallucinating. How can anyone have golden eyes? He must have come to help me and I acted stupid by being like this. Maybe I should just get up and walk to him and-

Just then Taehyung approached you.

Taehyung: Miss, are you awake?

You in your mind: Such a bad actor y/n. He caught you. Maybe he saw your eyes staring at the other guy. It's time to stop this right now.

You: Yeah. I just woke up. Where are we by the way? And who are you?

Taehyung in his mind: Our innocent Luna, trying to act dumb. Isn't that cute.

Taehyung: You are now safe with us. You are in the King's castle. At the basement. I am Taehyung, one of his warriors.

You: What about the rest of my friends? Where are they?

Taehyung: They are all safe and have been sent to the dining hall to have some food. You were the only one who passed out. So I came to check up on you. So, would you like to have some food?

You: Yes please. Uuhmmm....

Taehyung: What is it Lu...little girl?

You: Who was the one who was here before you came around?

Taehyung in his mind: Luna wants to know about Alpha King. How romantic. I'm sure she can feel some pull towards him.

Taehyung: You don't know him? He is the King. He personally came to check on you for injuries.

You: Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't know.

Taehyung: It's not a problem Lu...Little girl.

You: I am not a little girl. My name is y/n. You can call me that. Little girl sounds so weird.

Taehyung in his mind: My wolf won't allow me to call you by your name, but I'll try. I just hope Alpha king understands and doesn't take my head for calling you by your name.

Just then Jungkook mind linked him.

Jungkook: Do what she wants. Call her by her name if that makes her happy. I understand and won't take your head for it, but I will, if she gets upset. I am watching her.

Taehyung: Alright, y...y/n.

You: That's more like it. I am really hungry. Shall we go?

Taehyung: Yes, my Lu...litt...y/n.

You: Hahaha.... My name isn't that difficult...

Taehyung: It's definitely not. I'm sorry, it's just a habit...

You smiled at him somewhere feeling safe. You got the brotherly feeling from him and he felt you radiating your feeling through your aura. He felt blessed that his Luna thinks of him as a brother.

In Dining hall

You saw that your friends were there. Many elders were also taken care of. They were made to sit on comfortable chairs, while the younger ones were given normal chairs. And a big buffet was served for everyone to choose and eat what they want. You were more than shocked at the hospitality. You knew that the king was a generous man, but didn't know that he would go to this extent. You felt happy looking at your people ravishing on all the delicious food. All the running had made them hungry for sure. A voice from behind you made you snap out of your thoughts.
