Just after reaching home, as usual, he threw his bag and went away to the bar. That night when he came home, he went straight to his room. After a while, I heard a scream from his room. Immediately, I ran to his room. When I went in, he was lying on the floor and screaming. I asked him about his problem,

He screamed, "I drank ale and had some drugs with my friends all day long, right now I feel like having a severe headache and stomach ache, it's hurting me, please help me."

Quickly, I brought a glass of buttermilk and gave it to him. He gulped it at once. For about ten or fifteen minutes there was absolute silence as we were waiting for the beverage to be effective on him. After a while, he felt good. When I was leaving his room, he broke the silence and

He said, "How do you know the remedy for this?"

I smiled and said, "I have watched it in Indian movies, so I gave it a try on you and it seems to be working as you look better now."

For this, he gave a smile.

I was going out of his room, when at once,

I asked him, "Why don't you leave this stuff?"

He looked at me for a moment, and said, "Do you think that I haven't tried to leave this stuff I wanted to, but I can't because I am highly addicted to it. And if I don't take this stuff, I can't live. I tried many times to avoid it but I failed, it is mission impossible. I can't stop my body from consuming it."

I looked into his eyes and said, "I will help you, will you try to leave it?"

Later, a moment,

I said, "By the way, impossible itself says,  'I'm possible', so get ready to leave it."

At that moment, I saw a spark in his eyes as if he lent a hand for help and I reached out to him. I saw a ray of hope in his eyes that this time with my help, he may leave the consumption of drugs and high doses of alcohol.

On the first day, I asked him to give me all the drugs he had with him.

He said, "Is it necessary?".

I said, "Of course, it is necessary, it's high time to leave it."

I placed my hand forward and demanded him to give me all the stuff he had with him and I warned him not to buy more.

He said, "Don't you think you are getting a bit rude."

I said, "In these matters, one has to be rash."

To this, he gave a smile and went out to buy some groceries.

On the second day, we both went to the university together. I sat on the last bench so that I could observe him. During an ongoing lecture, I observed him a couple of times so that none of his friends could indulge him in taking those stuff. My constant vigilance on him, disturbed him a lot. Once, when I looked at him, one of his friends noticed it and told everyone in his group and to my bad luck Olex was sitting beside him, and everyone laughed at us, his face reflected clear expressions of embarrassment. And as I was a gone case, even in the canteen I loitered around him.

I expected that on the way back home, he would scold me for the constant check on him. But on the contrary, he preferred not to utter a word. I was surprised at his behaviour because according to human psychology, a person could bear a limited amount of anger and he/she explodes when the limit is extended.

Upon reaching home, he closed the door and grabbed my hand tightly and

He said, "What is your problem?"

I looked into his eyes and said, "I... I am sorry Olex, I didn't mean that, I was tensed that you would indulge yourself again in taking that stuff. But I promise that I won't embarrass you again."
