Hazel found out she was Pregnant with Isaac's baby. She only was with him for one night and she was drunk. I know what you are thinking, drinking while having Cancer. She won her battle with cancer and Isaac threw a party to celebrate. She became drunk to try to get back to Augustus, her love of her life. Now, back to the story. She didn't want to be with Isaac. She decided to get an abortion. When she got home from her doctors appointment, she ended her life. She finally got to see Augustus, but she saw him kissing another girl.
He was only trying to get Hazel jealous. He still loved Hazel, but after seeing her with Isaac in bed, he thought that he was forgotten for good. He told Hazel all of this after she ran away crying. What she did surprised him. She kissed him, and he kissed her back.
