Dean's a twenty-four-year-old that is 6'0  who has lived in Graceland, Tennessee for only a couple of months, he originally lived in Long Island, New York. He moved to Graceland, Tennessee, to find better job opportunities. He finally landed a job with a local novel company named Beyond Books. Dean has always been interested in writing, and he wanted to become a novelist to express himself through his writing and become an inspiration for others to look up to. He's writing his first romance novel to become a bestselling author one day. He's 6'0 with short brown curly hair, and his eyes are blue like the ocean. Dean's style is mostly laid back, he always has a welcoming smile.

Dean smiles softly as he brushes away his dark brunette hair away from his face, and his blue eyes scan the menu from top to bottom. Dean wasn't sure what he wanted to order because there were a variety of new options to choose from in the Fall menu special.

"Hmm, what do you recommend for the Fall Special Brielle?" He asked as his blue eyes grazed into Brielle's dark brown eyes. I smiled as I looked down at the menu, then I gently pushed back a strand of her curly black hair behind my ear.

"Well... I would recommend the pumpkin spice muffin and the apple cider drink! Both of these menu specials have been popular the last couple of weeks!" Dean listened to me as I spoke to him, he then nods his head in agreement.

"Okay, that sounds good then! I need something hot since it's a bit chilly outside today."

I smiled and nodded as I made my way toward the kitchen. Dean then gets out his laptop, he then starts brainstorming ideas for his novel, he sighs softly. He looks out the window watching the red, yellow, and orange leaves on the trees twirl from the high winds, scattering across the busy streets of people. Dean starts typing the introduction of his novel, It was a cold windy Fall afternoon, the street was crowded with people in the small busy town as Micah made his journey to the coffee shop—-

"Kai we have an order for one pumpkin spice muffin and a hot apple cider for Dean," I said while making eye contact with him.

"On it, one pumpkin spice muffin and apple cider coming right up Bri!" He said with excitement.

I made my way back to the cash register, the bell rang as someone entered the coffee shop. Kai made his way over to Dean placing his pumpkin spice cupcake and the piping hot apple cider onto his table.

Kai glanced, as he noticed Dean's blue eyes were only set on me. "Dean here's your order, Is there anything else you would like to order?" He asked curiously. Dean suddenly noticed Kai beside him.

"Huh, no that'll be all Kai, thank you." He coughed a little bit feeling a bit of embarrassment from zoning out.

"What's the total?" Dean asked.

"It'll be $10 for the total today." He says replying to him.

Dean gets his wallet from out of his jean pocket, he pulls out a crisp $20 bill. "Keep the change,"Dean says as he continues working on his novel.

"Really?!" "Wow, thank you, Dean! Have a great day!" Kai makes his way back toward the kitchen. I received a text message from her best friend, Marina. I had a bit of free time as I had just finished the order for the previous customer.

Hi Bri, I hope you are having a great day! You're invited to my wedding next Saturday, and the Bachelorette party will be on Friday! You can bring a plus one, pssst... Dean! Lol, just an idea I can't wait to see you there! 💕

I took a moment, I looked over at Dean as my brown eyes met up with his blue eyes, I looked away suddenly, so he wouldn't think I was staring at him. I thought it couldn't hurt to ask Dean if he wanted to go with me, of course, if he wasn't busy.

I replied to the message, I would love to! I can't wait to see you soon! I'll ask Dean to come with me! Have a wonderful day as well! ❤️

I walked over to Dean's table, "Hey Dean, how is your meal?" I asked curiously.

"It's delicious!" He says with a smile.

"Great! I was wondering if you would like to come with me to my friend's wedding if you aren't busy.. of course..." I could feel her heart pounding as I felt nervous to ask him. I hadn't felt this way before around him, I took a deep breath waiting for his response. Dean was a bit shocked at first but then he was happy that she asked him to go.

"Of course Bri, I would love to go!" He smiled once again at her.

"Great, I'll pay for the tickets, we have to be there for the party by Friday, so we'll leave out by Wednesday."

"Okay sounds good Bri, do you mind if I pay for the tickets?" He asked curiously waiting for her response.

"I mean are you sure Dean?" I felt a bit shocked at what he had offered, but I thought the gesture was nice for him to do.

"I am sure, I don't mind paying, at all." He reassured her. "

I have to head back home, Paisley is waiting for me back home." Paisley was Dean's small black and brown York Terrier pup that he has recently gotten from an animal shelter.

Brielle smiled as she nodded, "Bye Dean see you at the airport on Wednesday." I smiled.

"See you soon Ellie." Dean gathered up his items, he then made his way out of the door as the bell rang as he left.
