After a long day I'm on my way back home. I need to hurry up because eomma and appa said they have something serious to talk about. As I reached my car I saw eomma was calling me. I answered the called after few seconds.

Eomma : where are you?

Taehyung : I'm on my way home eomma.

Eomma: yeah get home quick we need to leave soon.

Taehyung: *sigh* yeah I'll be there in few minutes.

Well nothing new with their behavior. But whatever why do I care.

As i reached home i saw Laura eomma and appa in the living room waiting for me with a serious face.

Appa : taehyung we need to talk.

Taehyung: yeah I will just take a quick shower and will be here in few minutes.

Appa: we don't have much time to wait I gotta leave for office work.

Taehyung : *deep breath* okay fine what is the matter?

Eomma : taehyung let's get to the point we need a heir.

I narrowed my eyes at the old couple on their sudden decision.

Taehyung : okay? What do u mean?

Appa : we need a heir to keep your position as the leader taehyung. Without a heir we can't keep your position without any issues.

Taehyung : you asked me to get married with the same reason you know that?

Eomma : but that's the rule taehyung. The heir of the you and Laura will be the next leader after you.

Taehyung : *sigh* fine give me time to think about this matter.

Appa : sure but don't delay the matter for too long it can cause trouble for your position.

Taehyung : I guess your work here is done. You may leave I need to rest and I'm tired.

I said without looking at their faces and With that the old couple left my house leaving me in deep thoughts. I moved my gaze to Laura only to find her with same expression.

Taehyung: anyways I gotta go fresh up I stink blood.

Just then.......

Yoongi : oy kim!! You left us without informing we thought you were lost.

Taehyung : oh? Sorry. that old couple wanted to talk about something important and called me to get home quick.

Hoseok : what was it about?

Taehyung : we will talk about this later hyung, I reek blood let me go wash up real quick.

I said feeling tiredness taking over me. But if it was someone else I would have shouted at them but I didn't because he is my hyung. Tho we all are not blood related but still they toke care of me from a long time.

I was home alone waiting for my brother's to call me. I didn't realize I was biting my nails due to anxiety.

Y/n : the heck is going on with them why aren't they calling me yet? They said they would be done by 7pm and call me once they reach Kim's mansion.

*mobile ringing*

I answered the call as soon as I saw the caller name.

Y/n : yah! Jung hoseok and min yoongi!! Where the heck are you both? Do you know I am worried sick for you? I was about to run to Kim's mansion and brag in. I swear to god I will choke you both once you get home.

Hoseok : brat calm the hell down my ear is about to bleed!! Jesus christ this kid got a loud voice.

Y/n : excuse me? *I said offended*

Hoseok : you are excused~~

Yoongi : oh c'mon both of you stop it. I'm at the end of my today's battery.

Y/n : *scoff* never mind. Where are you?

Yoongi : Kim's place.

Hoseok : we are late because taehyung left early without informing us and we were searching for him thinking he was lost.

Y/n : that kim again--

Yoongi : don't curse him kido we will get home in few minutes maybe. Taehyung has something to discuss.

Y/n : *sigh* fine! Come home soon If you don't want to see empty bowl of ramen.

Hoseok : don't you dar--

I came to my room and saw Laura. Looks like she was waiting for me.
But I didn't bothered asking her and went to grab my clothes and towel.

Laura : taehyung we need to talk.

Taehyung : I said it already let's talk after I bath. *sternly*

Laura : but I need to talk about this alone.

I gave her a "seriously" look.

Laura : you members don't know our relationship yet we can't discuss this in front of them.

I sigh knowing she was speaking truth.

Taehyung : alright go on.

Laura : I'm refusing to give you a heir.

Taehyung : I know and i wouldn't ask you either to give me a heir.

Laura : but you were quite in front of mr. Kim and mrs. Kim?

Taehyung : they don't know the truth yet and I couldn't speak back either.

Laura : yeah fine but know that I'm refusing your parents decision even if they're gonna force me like they did for the marriage.

Taehyung : that would be a great favor for me if you refuse this in front of that old couple.

Laura : deal it on your own taehyung I got my company to handle and don't involve me in your matter.

Taehyung : will make sure to keep you away from my matters. Now done? Please walk out of the room so I can go take bath.

Laura went out without any word.
I toke a deep breath and closed my eyes to process whatever is happening in my life. Growing up with parents who treated me just as a heir and nothing else, forced me to marry their friends daughter saying I can't keep my position without being married, now being forced to give them a heir with the same reason. But I don't want my child to have same life like me. Being treated as just a heir. I might not show love and care to anyone but as a father I want to keep my child happy and loved.
I went inside the bathroom and turn on the shower. I felt all the stress going down as the warm water run down from my neck....
