5:00 PM

We're all sitting next to each other against the wall. We've been out here talking about all of our memories for hours. And when I say hours, I mean hours. I guess this is how we're choosing to grieve them.

"Do you guys remember when we first met them?" I ask.

Everyone laughs a little as we recall the memory.

FLASHBACK

"Hey, did you just cut in front of me?" I ask.

The girl in front of me turns around.

"Yeah, so what?" she asks, folding her arms.

"Go to the back of the line," I say, folding my arms as well.

She leans in close to my face.

"Make me," she says.

I grab her arm and snatch her away from the line. Then I push her and calmly get back in line.

"What the hell?!" she shouts.

"You said make me."

She glares at me, then heads towards me and pushes me out of line too.

"What the heck?!" I shout.

"Ladies!" we both hear a woman shout.

We look next to us and see the principal standing in front of us with her arms crossed. We both immediately point at each other.

"She started it!" we both shout.

The principal sighs.

"Back of the line. Both of you," she demands.

"But-" I start.

"Go," the principal insits, pointing to the back.

"Ugh!" I whine.

We both march to the back of the line. She gets in front of me and I scoff.

"Seriously?" I hear someone say.

I turn around and see Liam standing behind me.

"She started it," I mumble.

He laughs and grabs both of my shoulders. He swiftly turns me back around and leans forward to whisper into my ear.

"Quit getting into trouble."

I feel my heart beat rapidly and my face flush.

"Quit it," I swat him away.

He simply laughs at my flustered state.

"Would you two quit flirting?" April says, walking up to the both of us.

"We're not flirting. He's just being annoying," I say, rolling my eyes.

"Suuure," she responds.
