jaydn sat out on her roof looking up at the sky think about her future.
she was about to make her college decision with one of her best friends and all these thoughts had started running through her mind.
just as she had gotten lost in the stars she heard her window open and footsteps lead to her.
"what are you doing out here?" her best friend josh asked her.
"just thinking" she told him plainly knowing she was a nervous wreck.
"about??" he asked her, thinking he had a clue.
"college josh" she told him as if he should've already known.
"i'm just nervous. what if i fail or don't like where i'm at?? what if i'm just not making the right decision." she asked him hoping he would have an answer.
"you're one of the smartest people i know. you'll be fine in college. you were valedictorian. everyone loved you so stop doubting yourself." he told her, hoping it would calm her down.
"thank you josh" she told the boy, hugging him carefully so they wouldn't fall.
"so do you wanna go in or do you wanna stay out here??" he asked her.
"let's stay out here." she told him as they both got comfortable on her roof looking at the star lit sky.
