"hey dillion are you going to jake's party tonight? i heard a lot of basketball players are gonna be there." your friend sam asked you as you both sat down for lunch.

"girl you know i don't go to those parties. all they do is get drunk and argue." you said back noticing the look on her face.

"that's true but you have to get out of the house sometimes. you can't just stay home all the time you have to have some fun." she said to you trying to get you to agree to going.

"i'll see how about that?" you said just wanting to be done with this conversation.

"so have you decided if you're going or not?" sam asked over the phone this time seeing you were comfortable in your bed not wanting to be bothered.

"what time does it start?" you asked giving in so she would leave you alone.

"7 tonight." she said back getting excited that you would go.

"ok i'll see you then." you said hanging up the phone then rolling over to take a nap.

you had just finished getting ready when sam sent a text saying she was outside.

you were wearing low waisted jeans and a blue crop top and kentucky dunks.

"girl you look so cute." sam told you as you got into her car.

"so do you." you said back. she had on blue jeans, a multicolored crop top, and paisley dunks.

"you wanna play some music?" she asked handing you the aux as you plugged in your phone going to a playlist.

not too long after she pulled up to a busy house will cars spilling out from the driveway onto the street.

"well this is it clearly." she said parking her car along the street.

as the two of you walked in the smell of weed and sweaty people hits you noses.

"hey guys i'm glad you made it!" jake said walking up to the both of you.

"drinks are over there and there's stuff to do in the backyard!" he said pointing over to the kitchen and back door.

"ok i'm gonna grab something to drink." you told sam.

"ok i'm gonna see if i can find jay." she said referring to her boyfriend.

"ok." you said leaving her side going to grab something.

you found a coke and walked out to the backyard sitting in a chair facing the sunset.

"hey." you heard from behind you feeling a tap.

"hey mikey. wouldn't have expected seeing you here." you said to him as he pulled up a chair next to you.

"i mean you can't stay in the house everytime. gotta have fun atleast once." he said making you laugh.

"well hey you do you i guess." you said back turning away from here.

the both of you carried on a conversation for a little before getting bored.

"do you wanna maybe grab something to eat?" he said starting to stand up.

"yea i don't mind, just let me tell sam i'm leaving." you told him as the both of you walked inside.

you found her and her boyfriend sitting on the couch together talking to someone about something.

"hey sam, i'm gonna head out but call me when you get home out!" you said trying to shout over the music.

"ok be safe!" she said back as you started walking out the door.

"so where do you wanna eat." mikey asked as you both got into his car.

"it doesn't matter to me honestly. maybe a burger." you said as he pulled out of the driveway.

"ok in and out?" he asked as you shook your head yes and he headed towards that way.
