This is a retelling of Red- The Witcher.
The reason I decided to rewrite the book is because I finished the Witcher Series by Andrzej Sapkowski I preferred the book over the show. I decided to keep the English translation of Jaskier and so he is Dandelion. Most of the events and people are in the book. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend. You can find certain characters on the internet if the show hasn't introduced them yet.
One of my biggest changes was Sage's name and the story between her and Cahir. In the books, he is a loving character who realizes his mistake and changes and Sage finds that a redeeming quality. So, I severed their mother-son relationship.
