Sage

I had woken up to the white mist casting a light hue on the palace and into the bedroom. Rolling over in the tangled sheets, I had expected to see Eredin laying next to me, but he wasn't there. I got up, only to find him standing on the balcony, naked, his small ass clenched.

I put on my robe and went to him, grazing my hand on his shoulder and he turned. He didn't bother with a morning greeting and wrapped his arms around my waist and wrested his head on my shoulder.

"Good morning to you too," I chuckled. He pulled away to kiss me and held my hand. He then studied me.

"I like your red hair," he said, his voice low and husky. "I like red."

"I know. That's why they're called the Red Riders, isn't it?"

"I want you to meet them," he said. "My army."

"Today? Tonight?" I questioned, trying not to sound concerned. I had other plans and I didn't want to make it suspicious that I was busy even though Ciri and I were supposed to stay here for eternity.

"Tonight."

I squeezed his hand, agreeing to the terms. He then motioned me to follow him inside. I stood to the side as he pulled out clothes from his dresser. He had given me a dress identical to his clothes with the bright red and gold embroidery and the satchel and everything, just longer.

"Put it on."

I wryly smiled and did so. I assumed I was going to wear it all day, showing everyone my status next to the King of the Dearg Ruadhri. He smirked on how it looked on me before putting on his clothes, stuffing his legs into silver-armored boots.

Once he finished tucking his black hair behind his ears and putting two or more rings on, he set out his arm for me to link mine. We then headed downstairs for the dining room.

When we entered, Ciri was giving me a hard look but she knew that it was all a facade and looked away. Avallac'h didn't care and just adjusted his black tunic. We sat down and waited for the king to come, but, he never did and we ate without him.

Avallac'h and Eredin had gotten into an argument about the King Auberon and he depression being unfit to rule Tir Na Lia and he later said, "I need to hash things out with this puny cunt."

"I'll see you later then," I said. I glanced at Ciri to come with me and she quickly got out of her seat before they could start breaking things.

We made it outside and safely crossed a bridge; however, safe wouldn't consider the deathly glares I was receiving from other Elves. It was clear that Eredin had some kind of dictatorship on the people if the King was sick for the day-- it was almost everyday. The respect of his reaping of humans to be servants had turned into fear since he sometimes lashed out.

Ciri and I had crossed the bridge away from the palace before I took her hand and shifted into a wraith. We flew over the many islands of Aen Elle in my specteral form and landed in the darkest side, the forbidden side of the world. It was where the unicorns resided.

"Cirilla, Sage," the unicorn who I had met said telepathacially. "Thank you for coming."

"Thank you for letting us," I smiled.

"She works with Sparrowhawk," I heard them snickering. They were communicating loudly on purpose.

"She sleeps with him."
