TWENTY TWO

MEERA'S POV

The President has declared an emergency in all four states and The military has taken complete control in Bihar, UP, MP and Delhi.
You can see photos from Lucknow, Bhopal, Patna and Delhi on your TV screen . As we can see the military is guarding all the roads , check post, public places in four hours the riots and protest has been taken under control . People are asked to stay in their homes unless it is medical emergencies except hospital all other offices, School and colleges are shut down . The prime minister has landed in Bhopal two hours back and now is in a meeting with defence head the chief of army , navy and airforce are in meeting with the prime minister and even the president will join the meeting virtually .

I switch off the television seeing the news . It was 27 hours Advithji left Delhi he has been travelling continuously from Delhi to Lucknow to Patna to Bhopal and I have no idea when he will come back to Delhi back .
I even did not had a proper ten minutes conversation with him since he left.
These past hours were so strenuous for him . He had been working non-stop and I am sure he must have avoided his health ignoring his sleep and food completely in all this . Even Dad is stressed by all this even although he is not showing it but I can see worry in his eyes . Its first time situation has turned this bad and to make the matter worse Advithji's fear came true all higher government officers, industrialists, MLAs were involved in riots as no one wants these bill to pass .  But if the media report has to be believed it seems the situation is in control . I was lost in my thoughts. Thank God I have my baby with me otherwise all of my overthinking would have made me insane. I just hope he comes back soon. I thought pacing in our room with Ansh in my arms so that he could sleep .

" Meera ma'am " my assistant came running inside

" Yes is everything fine ?" I ask with a frown worried for Advithji seeing her huffing for breaths

" Advith sir is on line and he wants to talk to you "  she said and I immediately took her phone to hear Advithji screaming from the other side , "Meera where the hell is your mobile ? I have been calling you from last fifteen minutes "

I immediately checked my mobile to see 20  missed calls from Advithji . "I am sorry" I said not knowing what to say as I was lost in my own thoughts " my phone was on silent mode Ansh is sleeping "

"you should be careful anyways I am forwarding you a mail you have to give that statement to the media in half an hour " he said and I knew if we were not in this situation he would not let the topic go so easily and I do have a hunch that once he reach home I will hear scolding from him about this . 

"Meera did you heard me?"  his voice brought me back from my thoughts .

"Yes...I will check"

"Is everything ok Meera?" He asked slowly  making me sigh "I am just worried ...when will you come back ...your babies are missing you "  I said

"I will reach there early in the morning " he replied softly 

"Sachi??" I ask excited

"Muchi" he replied laughing "now I have to go and complete my work so I could reach to my babies soon and you have to go and prepare your statement "

ADVITH'S POV

It took my breath away when Meera did not answered my call and when she told me the reason it took almost everything in me to not shout at her for her carelessness. I only knew what all negative thoughts came in my mind for those minutes when my calls were continually unanswered. It was only when I heard her voice I took another breathe. But the moment she said she is worried for me and missing me I realised she must be feeling the same. From the moment I left Delhi and to calm her I told her I will reach home early in the morning. Anyway whatever I had to set up here was already done . Military has taken positions in all 4 provinces control has been given to military head . I just need to instruct them then I can go back and handel from Delhi .

"Ajay arrange my metting with head of army , navy and airforce and chief of defence staff"  I ordered drinking my tea 

After Twenty minutes everyone was in my suit for meeting. I switch on the TV  to see Meera's statement

I, Meera Advith Rawat , your education minister would like to thank you all for giving us your support our letter to THE PRESIDENT sir has been reached to President's office with signature of 70 crore signatures . Our honorable President sir had given me an appointment for tomorrow for 15 minutes where I will explain to him our demand in brief . This is a big step for our nation tomorrow we will keep first stone of new India . Where Education will be cost free . Now in literal sense Right to education will be given to our country irrespective of  socio economic condition. I promise you every child of these country will have equal and proper education this is a promise of a mother . Jai Hind

"Perfect" I exclaimed and switched off the tv . 

"Control of state has been given to your hand each one of you have one state and all powers are handed over to you . I will leave for Delhi with the chief of defence .  UP will be control by Airforce , MP by Navy and Bihar by Army , Delhi by me and chief of defence other than that you people will give us detail report of your state every night directly to me till the situation is under control . As you can see our education minister has given her statement now people will try to again come on roads and Destroy the piece whoever is doing these arrest them no matter who it is and keep them in special cells appointed for this but make sure no innocent is harm . Make sure people who need medical assistance should not suffer in curfew "  I said and as soon as I got positive response from them i dismissed them

"Ajay arranged my live conference now " I ordered and after the conference we will leave for Delhi
