A day passed , Silent and suffocating. Alcohol burned away and vitals maintained as bani slowly was getting out of her no-reaction phase. Time flew as she laid in the peaceful silence, without knowing the burning life of her husband outside the ICU door.
Jay bagged a hotel room at Everdene while veer was too adamant to leave the hospital floor. He stood firm on his determination, that he will walk out of this hospital only with his wife.
"Sir" A nurse , visibly of early thirties rushed towards veer with a glowing face. She had been a witness to veer's misery over the last one day.
"Huh? Hmm.." veer slowly stretched his legs snapping out of the slight nap being still on the chair. His hair was unkept and eyes red and swollen and veer as a whole looked nothing like Bani's handsome boy !
"Sir , bani mam is back to senses. She is trying to open her eyes" the nurse almost shouted in excitement and veer shooted up onto his feet , the agony , pain , distress everything got deleted at the moment. A glow of excitement made a sweep over veer's face as he rushed to the glass door and peeped in through the pane to have a glimpse of his recovering wife.
"Doctor is already checking her and thankfully we can bring her to room now itself." She said and veer nodded with tears of joy. Bani still not was fully conscious but was trying to open her eyes. Necessary checkups were done and the doctor finally passed his agreement to shift bani to the room.

"Veer" bani whispered slowly as she opened her eyes fully getting back to sense, once she was shifted to the room. She remembered how she locked herself in, without thinking about veer! "Was he okay ?" It was the first thing bani had in her mind once she opened her eyes. Is he angry ?
"Shhh... sweetheart" bani heard veer's soft voice and felt a gentle clutch on her palms. She tilted her head to the side and saw veer looking at her with a small smile but bani stared at him fully shocked, his fully messed up and tired avatar. What has she done to him ? She felt a pang of regret once again. She is the reason of misery in Veer's life , isn't it ?
It was definitely not something which bani had intended, intended with her life , with her marriage. But nothing stopped where she wished them to hault, wished them to be. She never wanted veer to worry about her and to burn his life for her. And suddenly it struck her. Regret got exchanged and a slight fear got settled in Bani's heart. What if veer got to know about her depression and panic attack history ? How will he react on the fact that she hid her health details from him ?
One thing veer always wanted in their relationship was transparency and veer was always clean with his life in front of bani, but what about her ? . She have never said anything regarding herself and her secrets. Bani gulped and shook her head hoping that her non-transparency too won't act as an enemy to their marriage, just like alcohol !
