Hey guys! how u all doing?
They reach the house, and Shivanshika and Samidha looked up at their new house, which was also decorated with fairy lights and flowers. It was indeed beautiful but the thought of beginning a new life that was not seeming to soo easy was giving them chills.
They were led to the entrance, where their Mother in the law stood carrying a plate. She did the gruhvravesh of her Daughter in-laws. Shivanshika and Samidha were told to leave the imprint of their hands on the wall, They both lightly kicked the utensil with rice and entered the house leaving red footprints behind.
Aarav and Kabir were going upstairs when their mother stopped them saying some rituals are yet to be completed. They sighed and sat beside their wives.
They were asked to find the ring from the milk and water solution. It was said that one who wins, leads married life. Kabir won from Shivanshika when she glance up at her husband, she saw him smirking in victory. As for the case of the other couple, Samidha won it. Kabir was getting irritated by the ritual every passing second, or we can say he just can't accept his defeat.
They were sent to their respective room.
I entered the room and looked up to observe it. It wasn't too manly, it was a beige-themed room with classic decors, just the way I liked. There was a huge window that lead to a beautiful balcony. There were 2 doors one would be probably the bathroom and the other I guessed a walk-in wardrobe.
I was exploring the room when I heard the door opening. I turned around to see my Husband walking toward me looking devilishly handsome, sleeves of the outfit rolled up, I could see his muscles did no mercy on him, they were popping out from his outfit.
I came out of my thoughts when I heard my name being called.
"Shivanshika?", Kabir called me again.
"uhh!.... sorry I was lost", I said and saw him smirking.
"It's okay and you remove your jewelry till then I will get changed, I could see removing them will take time," he said returning back to the cold voice.
"O...Okay", I shuttered.
He went inside the bathroom and I sat in front of the mirror removing the pins from my hair. Hell, there was a lot. Finally, when I removed all the pins, I let my long hair cascade down freely. I was removing the necklace when the hook struck my hair. Shit! It was not opening.
I heard the door click and saw Kabir in sweatpants and a T-shirt. He was going toward the bed when I called him.
"Umm... Kabir could you help me, the hook seemed to be stuck in my hair, it won't come out.", I said blushing a little and with my head down, for that moment I found my hand so interesting
He nodded and came up to me. I felt my hair being removed from my back exposing my back to him. I shivered when his hand came in contact with my skin. I just closed my eyes and within moments I heard him.
"Done."
"Thanks", I said and run with my nightdress toward the bathroom, believe me, it feels like heaven after removing that heavy dress. I looked at myself in the mirror, Vermillion in my hairline, a Nuptial chain clouded around my neck, Choodas in my both hand, and dark henna imprinted on my hand all indicating that I belong to my husband. But something was different, I was glowing.
Leaving my thoughts behind I exited the bathroom and saw Kabir typing on his phone, I guessed it was his work as if a person could miss his own sangeet for work then it is nothing. I sighed and went near the bed taking a pillow to sleep on the couch, he raised his eyebrow.
"You sleep on the bed, I'll take the couch", I said and stark walking towards the couch.
"I won't eat you Shivanshika", he said maintaining a poker face, to which I gave him a confused look.
"We can share the bed," he said and I nodded.
I lay down on the other side of the bed and I switched off the lights and sleep engulfed me.
