It's been a month since my last convo with my family. All I feel is lonely. No one wants to talk..., leave that they don't even give me a glance. I know what I did was unforgivable. I'm regretting it. I understand their anger.

About Samidha I don't see her often, I went early to the office all these days and come late at night. I just don't know how to face her.

Sighing I went down to have breakfast. It is Sunday today, and although I was going to the office to divert my mind but papa denied it and asked me to stay at home, to be honest, his tone was rude.

"what do you accept from them after being Jerk all this time and not listening to them?", my inner voice mocked me.

I settled down on my seat and kept my head down, unable to meet anyone's eyes, but my eyes shot up when I heard the jiggling of anklet.

I saw Samidha, she was looking ethereal. the red saree clad around her frame perfectly showed her curves. She was wearing the least makeup, and she look highlighted with red lipstick.

I looked away when her eyes met mine

I looked away when her eyes met mine. I was embarrassed by my doings to her. At that moment I wanted to cut my hand that slapped her. How could I even do this?

The breakfast finished with all of them talking and smiling happily. I took a small glance at everyone, they look happy. I lost them. I was the reason for their sadness in the last few days. I couldn't be a good son, a good grandson, a good brother, or a good husband. I don't deserve their forgiveness, maybe they will be happier if I disappear from their life, and Samidha could also find her better half better than me, who will keep her happy.
