There are two sides to being salty: the savory side and the more irritable side. These Inktober sketches show those very definitions.

First Sketch: Like many of my other sketches, a piece from the fantastic Francesca Damkar (FadArtwork) inspired this. Her drawing, which depicts THSC's Triple Threat in the infamous Star Trek vs. Star Wars debate, plays a part in my character and the story she came from.

Her name is Stella Calvin, and she's the next in line for Goddess of the Galaxy. Stella's parents were on different sides of the iconic debate, but grew closer when Stella was born. I could honestly go so in-depth on the backstoryand inspiration, but I'll push that aside and present you with the main sketch.

I decided to go for the tastier meaning of "salty" and drew Stella about to enjoy a pretzel from Wetzel' Pretzels (one of my favorite places in my local mall 🤭). No lie, I'm genuinely craving the pretzel she's holding right now, and I don't think anyone would disagree with that statement. 😅🥨

Second Sketch: Based on a fanfic I'm working on with a friend, we have a character from the indie horror game, Andy's Apple Farm. His name is Peter the Pumpkin, and he plays the antagonizing role in both the game and the fanfic. My friend suggested this idea, so I was happy to draw this. This sketch involves the more moody and agitated side of salty. I just hope he gets out of that mood soon, in case things get rather... horrifying.

Enjoy! 💝~
