TW/CW: Hospital Setting

Words: 1.3k

Dylan POV:

Dylan got to the hospital pretty quick after figuring out that Bryan passed out half an hour ago. He finally properly got everyone to behave and then found time to see him now.

Bryan was conscious and a doctor explained to Dylan that Bryan's blood pressure might've dropped or he could've been in a tense situation. Dylan wasn't paying much attention and just wanted to hurry up and get out of these hallways to find Bryan's room.

The doctor added, "Oh, by the way, another guy is here. In case you weren't aware."

Another guy? Who else would want to visit Bryan? The animatronics can't, his parents would've come together you'd think, and Davis really didn't care as much.

He entered the room and was a bit surprised to Vendi sitting next to Bryan on the bed. Bryan did seem to be doing better and he was sitting up.

"Oh, hey, Dylan!" Bryan spoke in a tired tone. He wasn't opening his left eye strangely enough.

"Hey, are you alright?" Dylan was just concerned for his health than Vendi.

"Mhm. I'm just getting checked out right now. They didn't seem to mind people visiting though. Nice to see you came." Bryan gave a smile.

"Do you know what happened, Bryan?" Dylan got up and avoided and wires and such to not unplug or destroy something.

"Uh, well." Bryan seemed to be deep in thought.

Dylan got seated on Bryan's right and was still a bit curious about the Vendi situation. I don't really think bosses go and check up on you like this. Maybe a text or call, but a visit?

"Moon initiated a, well, verbal fight. I got a bit angry and then Davis started yelling at me. I guess I got overwhelmed because my vision just started to blur and it went dark." Bryan explained in a simple way.

"Oh, so was that the reason you passed out?"

Vendi chimed in, "The doctor and nurses think so, but they want to be sure."

Dylan nodded as he understood what Vendi was saying, but he did see how Vendi seemed to be just touching Bryan's thigh which was a bit weird. I mean, do people do that to another person platonically now?

Dylan just ignored it for now. Bryan was the main worry of the day. He didn't look terrible and seemed healthy enough. It's good to know he is alright.

"Alright, well, are you going to be okay?" Dylan made eye contact with Bryan.

"Yeah, I'm sure they'll keep you updated if something does go wrong. Plus Vendi is here." Bryan gave a quick glance at the CEO.

Vendi just gave a small smile to Dylan. They didn't have regular interactions at all. Being in the same room was rare encounter for both of them.

"Well, I guess I'll be off. Are you just going to stay here, Vendi?" Dylan asked.

"Dr. Vendi and yeah. I'll probably be here for another hour. Not like I want to go anywhere else." Dr. Vendi corrected and answered the blonde's question.

"Oh, alright. Apologies, Dr. Vendi." Dylan apologized and walked out of the room.

He didn't correct Bryan. Why didn't he? Are they that good of friends and I just didn't know? Well, I should know Bryan's friends shouldn't I... I'm sure someday we will meet again. Not for awhile though.

Vendi POV:

"So are you going to be alright?"

Bryan just nodded slowly and laid his head on the other's shoulder.

"Then why won't you open your eye, Bryan?" Vendi had a worried sounding voice.

Bryan sighed and just frowned for a few moments.

"I, uhm, don't want people to be confused or worried." Bryan responded softly.

"Bryan I think not opening your eye will worry people." The ruby-eyed chuckled.

"But it isn't good. At all." Bryan was reluctant on the whole idea of opening his eye.

What could be wrong with your eye, Bryan. I just want to know what is wrong.

"Just show me. Please." He begged.

Bryan just started weeping silently, "Fine..."

He opened his eye, but his eyes were looking at the door. He was making this much more harder than it needed to be. I don't think someone could hate there left eye specifically. It was a strange thing.

Vendi sighed and use his hands to guide Bryan's face his direction. He looked completely devastated as if the worst thing in his life just happened. Vendi didn't react to what Bryan was literally crying about which made the brunet confused.

"I don't get it. Well, I don't get why you are upset over it. I thought you liked ruby eyes. My poor heart." He laughed and let Bryan go.

Bryan rubbed his eyes and just looked confused for a minute before realizing, "No! You know that isn't the issue." He just glared at him.

"I mean. I don't think you just pass out and then all of a sudden you get a red eye, Bryan." Vendi kept looking at it.

"Yeah, welp, it happened. I'm freaking out and now you are just making jokes about it."

"Well! Not in a mean way of course. I like both my eyes thank you." Vendi smiled at him.

Bryan's face went a bit red, "Whatever, I just want to be able to cover it."

Vendi got off of the bed and just hummed for a moment. He went outside to a desk to get an eye patch. He thanked the person who gave him it and walked back inside. He looked and was proud of it. It was like he just discovered buried treasure.

"Here you go." Vendi handed over the patch.

"Thank you!" Bryan put it on and sighed deeply.

"Always here to help you."

It was an alright color. It was a dark red. He seemed to be happy enough with the color he gotten. I mean, red seemed to be Bryan's thing.

"Alright, I'm going to go now. Okay?" Vendi leaned against the door frame.

"Okay, just please don't tell anyone..." Bryan tried to seem serious about this one.

Vendi nodded in agreement of not telling anyone about it. He made it to the receptionist desk and then to the parking lot. He did have lots of questions about the eye though. He made it as light hearted for Bryan as he could. m he was just worried what that meant to Bryan.

For now he had to go and drive all the way back to work. Probably make up some cheap excuse. It won't matter since he is the literal boss. No worries there.

He strolled in and the receptionist just looked at him interested. She seemed to want to say something. Probably ask where he has been actually.

"Want me to write down what you were doing or?" She seemed ready to type something on her computer.

"Yeah, I was just visiting a loved one." Vendi stated.

"Visiting a loved one." She spoke as she typed and then paused and her face looked in complete shock.

Vendi didn't say anything and started walking off.

"He has a loved one?" She wasn't very quiet and Vendi kinda smiled at it.

He entered the elevator and thought to himself for a bit. The elevator was actually quite fast and boring. It got the job done so he couldn't complain.

Did I just say loved one?

Vendi stopped in his tracks once he got off the elevator.

( a/n Chapter 6 is going to be so much Bryan and someone else actually. hush I didn't tell u. so rip Vendi for now. oh my god that sounds bad I swear he isn't going to die-)
