Episode 46: Sir Nighteye's Challenge

LET'S CATCH YOU UP TO SPEED...

"I'm Sonic, the world's fastest hedgehog and a Class 1-A student at UA High School. After a pretty eventful summer, we're officially back in class and starting our hero work studies. Only problem is... I have no idea who I should go study under."

A few days have gone by since 1-A's sparring match with Mirio when Sonic and Deku are walking through the halls, having just finished class.

Deku: *sigh* Man, I don't know what to do. Gran Torino said I wouldn't be able to work for him for the work studies, and All Might's our teacher so it's not like I can ask him.

Sonic: That and the fact that's used up the last of his power. Man, I dunno what I'm gonna do either. Maybe I'll see if I can run with Aizawa again.

Just at that moment, Mirio walks up behind them and calls out to them.

Togata: Hey you two!

Sonic: Yo Blondie! Long time, no see!

Togata: Good to see you Sonic and Midoriya, right?

Deku: Izuku Midoriya, at your service!

Togata: Oh great, just the guys I was looking for. You two decide where you're gonna do your work studies yet?

Deku: Actually we were trying to figure that out now.

Togata: That's perfect! I think I know just the agency for you two, but first we should go see All Might.

Sonic: Huh? What for?

The scene then shifts to the three of them entering All Might's office.

Togata: Excuse me, sir! I'm sorry to bother you.

All Might: Young Togata my boy! And Sonic and Young Midoriya are here! What brings you three here?

Togata: I was wondering if you might be able to introduce these two to Sir Nighteye for me!

Deku: W-Woah! Sir Nighteye?! As in ALL MIGHT'S OLD SIDEKICK?!

Sonic: SIDEKICK?! Hey what gives? I thought you never took in any sidekicks.

All Might: *sigh* I made an exception once.

Deku: So can you introduce us?!

All Might: I'm sorry boys, but that won't be possible.

Sonic: Aw what?

Deku: Why not?

All Might: My relationship with Nighteye is... complicated to say the least. We're not exactly on speaking terms right now.

Sonic: Bummer.

Deku: C'mon, All Might! This could be such an awesome experience! I wanna do everything in my power to get stronger and that means learning from the best of the best. I've learned a lot from you, but learning from one of your partners could be even more enlightening! Please, sir!

All Might: I see you've really got your heart set on this now. Alright then. Young Togata, you're currently interning for Nighteye, yes? Maybe you could introduce the boys to him on my behalf.

Togata: Hmm... well that depends. Before we decide on anything, I need to ask you two something; what kind of heroes do you two want to be?

Sonic: Hmm? What kind of hero?
