Heejin was being taken to the Kim Kingdom, a neighboring kingdom that had always supported the Jeon kingdom. Heejin's father, King Jeon II, was great friends with King Kim. Despite all that, this was Heejin's first visit to the kingdom.

Heejin didn't expect much when she arrived at the Kim Royal Palace, sure the palace was far larger than the average palace. And maybe the Princes would be decent-looking, but really, Heejin didn't want to be here. She wanted to go home.

The carriage came to an abrupt stop, the doors opening slowly. Heejin took the hand of a nearby guard and let herself down, patting her dress. She looked up towards the tall marble staircase, decorated with vibrant bushes and flowers on the side.

Heejin scanned her surroundings, a smile crept up her face. A stone road engraved with ancient alphabets, large pebbles outlining the path. Numerous garden decorations were scattered across the grass, a large fountain glowing in the middle of the roundabout.

The royal family followed the guards leading them up the stairs, they stopped in front of four guards bowing their way.

The same guards opened a large metal gate, revealing the interior of the large palace. It was decorated with murals and chandeliers hanging from the high ceilings, a wide pink carpet that lead directly to the throne room.

The palace was beautiful, Heejin had to admit. Heejin breathed a sigh of relief, she felt hopeful. Maybe things weren't going to be that bad, she thought. The guards lead the Jeon family through the carpet and halls, to where the Kims were waiting.

Two guards opened the room, announcing the arrival of the family. Heejin followed their lead into the room, immediately noticing the 2 princesses standing in-front of her.

"Hello Princess, my name is Kim Hyunjin, you must be Princess Heejin," The raven-haired Princess introduced.

Heejin most definitely did not expect this. She didn't expect a drop-dead gorgeous Princess to be introducing her. She didn't even know there were princesses in the first place.

Heejin felt as if she had forgotten how to speak. Her words were trapped in her throat. All she could do was stand there and stare at what she thought was an Angel.

Heejin examined the features on the younger woman's face, lips parted. Her cat-like downturned lips, her wide, gorgeous eyes (that seemed to shine whilst looking at the older girl), her jet-black lustrous hair that carefully rested on her shoulder. Her captivating beauty left Heejin entranced.

"Princess Heejin... are you okay?"

"U-uh um y-yes, I am fine.. thank you for asking," Heejin gulped, her cheeks reddening in embarrassment.

Hyunjin was about to reply when they both heard the Queen speak.

"Heejin, sweetie come here, let your father properly introduce us." Heejin's mother called, Heejin nodded and hurried, standing beside Queen Jeon.

Hyunjin and the other princess left to take a seat on their thrones, nodding when their father officially announced the arrival of the Jeon Royal Family.

"Good to see you again," The King spoke, standing up and shaking the Jeon King's hand.

"Truly, it has been too long," The other King smiled in response. "My children," King Jeon paused, turning to the side. "Prince Heechul, crown prince. Princess Heejin, the second eldest. Prince Haechan, third eldest. And the little one, Princess Hyewon."
