Chapter 24. The Final Fight (Finale, pt 3)

We all gasped before looking around to see green smoke come through the window and I huddled behind my brother and Ben. Gizmo looked up before whimpering and I looked at him before looking back. All of a sudden, Maleficent appeared out of nowhere. Ben looked at me and I nodded before he ran over to his mother, standing in front of her. "I'm back!!" She yelled and I sighed. "It can't be..." Mal whispered. "Go away, mother," I said and Mal stared. "She's funny." Maleficent started to laugh and stopped after a while. "Mother?" Mal mouthed and I looked at her. "Sorry, it had to be this way." I mouthed back and she nodded. "Oh! I'm so... you're very funny. Here. Wand me. Chop chop." She held out her hand. "No!" Ben yelled and I looked at him. I threw the wand over to Fairy Godmother who started waving it. "Bibbidi-bobbidi..." Maleficent cut her off by freezing everyone. I looked over to see Persephone slightly moving and I stared. "Are you..." I mouthed to her. "Just play along." I nodded slightly and looked back. "Psych!" She started cackling and walked towards Beast. She took off his glasses and smirked. "Ooh, in another time, in another time." I closed my eyes, slightly gagging before hearing her hum. I opened my eyes confused and she was Fairy Godmother.

She grabbed the wand and put the edge against one of her nostrils. "Oh! Oh! Someone needs to pluck their nose hairs!" She said and I put my hand on my hip. "Where shall we begin? I know. Why don't we start by getting rid of this?" She stood in front of Fairy Godmother and pointed the wand toward me & Mal's hands. She used the wand to yank off the rings the guys gave us and I gasped before tearing up and seeing Ben's ring not on my finger anymore. She ducked underneath Fairy Godmother's arm and tried to avoid hitting her horns. "Perfect fit! Oh, excuse me. Pardon me. Excuse me. The horns, the horns!" She went towards Ben and pushed his face to the side. She fixed his crown weirdly before moving his face back. "Falling in love is weak... And ridiculous. It's not what you want." She glared at me and Mal making me sigh. "You don't know what Mal wants! Have you ever once asked her what she wants? She's not you!" I told her. "First of all, last time I checked, you are still my daughter even though your wretched father took you away. Second of all, you aren't me. I've had years and years and years and... Years of practice being evil. You'll get there." She said and I teared up even more. "No, I will not. And I wish that you had never gotten there yourself. Dad taught me that love is not weak or ridiculous. It's so amazing and I wished you would've experienced it yourself." I said, Mal nodding.

"I know one thing, young lady. You have no room for love in your life! The second we get out of here, you are so grounded and you are never going back to your father ever again!" She yelled. "THAT IS ENOUGH!" I heard Persephone yell and we all turned to her. "Well, well, well. Isn't it the wife of my ex-husband? I am so glad that I ain't married to him and honestly, you shouldn't be as well. After all, he is very weak and doesn't know how to be truly evil." Maleficent told Persephone. "I know one thing, Maleficent. Kaylin and Shawn are not your children, they are my children even if they aren't by blood. Also, my husband is not weak, he is strong and loves his children. Maybe if you cared for him and your children, then you wouldn't be so heartless." Persephone said and I smiled at her. "Well then, I guess you should shut your mouth and become a plant as you've always been!" Maleficent pointed the wand and I looked at Mal in slow motion. She understood and ran over before grabbing my hand and holding it up. "And now I command, wand to my hand!" We yelled and the wand struggled to get out of Maleficent's hand before it went into our combined hands. We laughed in relief and smiled. "Ha, it worked!" I said and Persephone smiled. But of course, it didn't last long. 
"I hardly think so! Frankly, this is tedious and very immature. Give me the wand. Give me the wand!" She yelled and Carlos held out his hand. "Hold on, Kaylin, Mal. Maybe good really is more powerful than evil." He said and she chuckled again. "Oh, please! You're killing me. Arf!" Dude the dog ran over before jumping on her and Gizmo started pulling on her dress. "Oh! Oh, the breath! The breath! Get off me!" She pushed them away and Gizmo went behind me. Jay went over before trying to grab her scepter. "Gaston should be jealous." She pinched his arm and he backed away. "Enough! You all will regret this!" She spun around in green smoke before turning into a large dragon! Jay started running away and we were all yelling. "Come on. Run, Jay, run!" Shawn yelled and we backed away. "Hurry, Jay. Hurry, hurry, hurry! Jay! Watch it, Jay Jay, come on Please, Jay! Jay!" I and Mal yelled and he ran over quickly. "Magic mirror, shine your bright light!" Evie showed the light into Maleficent's eyes and Yareli threw a few potions at her. "Behind me!! Leave my friends alone!" I yelled and glared. "This is a long fight that has been waiting to happen, Maleficent," I said and my hair started glowing blue along with my eyes. "The strength of evil is good as none when stands before four hearts as one." Mal and Shawn joined hands with me and yelled at the same time. Mal's eyes were glowing green while Shawn's hair and eyes were just like mine except now darker. "The strength of evil is good as none when stands before four hearts as one." The other 4 came over and linked all of our hands. My hair was now red with flames and my eyes were dark. "The strength of evil is good as none when stands before four hearts as one!!" We all yelled in unison before all of a sudden, green smoke shrunk her down?! Fairy Godmother became unfrozen and rushed over to us.

"What just happened?" Evie asked and we rushed over to where the tiny lizard was. "I have no idea," Mal said. "Did you do it?" Yareli asked us. "We don't know." Fairy Godmother stood in front of us before starting to talk. "No, no, no, no. Your mother did. She shrank to the size of the love in her heart. That's why It's so itty-bitty." She told me and Mal as all three of us kneeled. I was losing my strength quickly, feeling dizzy like I was on Family Day. What is going on? Am I going to pass out? "Is she going to be like that forever?" Shawn asked and she looked up at him. "Well, forever is a long time. You learned to love. So can she." Fairy Godmother said and the tiny dragon turned around. "I believe this belongs to you," I said, handing the wand to her. "And I believe this belongs to you, both." She handed our rings back and we put them on. We stood up and she smiled, gleefully. "You all have earned yourselves an "a" in goodness class. Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!" She unfroze everyone and I heard Ben roar before seeing him rush over. "Okay, okay! We all kinda got this thing wrapped up here!" I said and felt a headache start to come in. My muscles were starting to give out as my lungs felt raw. Am I having a panic attack? Am I dying? What is going on? Ben then stared before lifting me and spinning me around. I laughed and wrapped my arms around him. I felt myself get even more dizzier and the headache was even worse. "Next time I rescue you, okay?" He asked. "Yeah. Let's not let there be a next time, okay?" I looked over to see Chad being scolded by his parents and I smiled. Ben pulled me closer to him and I smiled. I then looked to see Mal hugging Nathan's waist as they talked to his mother. "Hey Ben..." He looked at me and he looked concerned. "Kaylin?" I started fanning myself and he grabbed my arms. "I- I..." I then kneeled down onto the ground. Ben grabbed my shoulders. "Kaylin?!" He yelled and I grabbed my head before falling onto the ground. "Kaylin?! Can you hear me? Tell me your okay!" I heard Ben say but it was getting blurry and my hearing was starting to go out. The last thing I remember was Ben...
