"Heart Attack" Chapter 6

Now that Niall has finally asked me out on a date, does that make me stand higher on the totem pole? Am I still that nerdy girl Sarah that only has two friends?

I was so confused, but had to keep typing up my essay for english. I had to take my mind of my date with Niall this weekend. What made him so interested in me all of a sudden anyways? I still remember when he first came to our school and he stared at me like he wanted to kill me or something. Funny how things change...

My Mom walked in and sat on the bed while looking up at me while I was typing away on my keyboard.

"Sarah, you've been working on that paper for more than two hours. Don't you think you deserve a break?" She asked as she waited for me to turn around and respond.

"Yes I should, but I also should be typing still this essay is due tomorrow and knowing me it has to be PERFECT." I said as I gave her a quick smile and went back to work.

"Okay whatever you say. Dinner is going to be ready soon and I am not going to let you eat in your room little ms." My Mom said as she exited out my door and walked down the stairs to start cooking dinner.

I logged off my computer and flopped on my bed taking in a big deep breath.

I had so much work ahead of me and I only did a quarter of it. I have to start preparing the drama studio for the performance next week, prom is in a month, my date with Niall is on Friday, and my photo project is due tomorrow.

I took my last deep breaths and sat back up again and walked over to my laptop to finish up my essay before dinner was ready.

"Wait a minute... SHOOT!" I jumped out of my seat and grabbed my bag and camera and headed down stairs. I totally forgot that I still had to take pictures for photo!

I quickly went down stairs and out the door before my Mom could question where I was going.

I then hopped in my car and backed out of the drive way to the closest park in order to take the pictures the teacher wanted.

It was a sunny day in the UK, very unusal but I was very grateful as I needed to take 12 photos by the time it got dark outside.

As I was driving I was wondering what I could take pictures of when all of a sudden a kid walked in front of me and I screeched to a stop. After almost dying of a heart attack I looked up to see who it was and yep, it was him.

Zayn Malik.

I didn't know whether I should be happy to see him or punch him in the face for almost getting himself killed for not watching what he was doing.

He was riding his skateboard like usual until I almost hit him and he was just getting up from the ground and wiped the dirt off from his elbows and knees and bit his lip while smirking at me and picked up his skateboard and walked over to my car window as I rolled down the window.

"ZAYN! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK YOU WERE GOING TO DO? YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN YOURSELF KILLED I COULD HAVE KILLED YOU!"

"Don't worry, I'm safe see I didn't get hurt one bit!" He said laughing.

"Well aren't you a badass.." I murmured not happy at the fact he didn't realize he almost got hit by my car.

"Ha! That's my name don't wear it out." He said winking.

I was about to drive away until I saw he had a camera around his neck also.

"Hey have you taken your pictures yet? I'm about to go to the park to take some." I said as I examined his body making sure he didn't get any bruises from the fall.

"Oh yeah thats where I was going until you came a long and almost hit me!" He said jokingly.

"You know what! If I wasn't in the car right now strapped with a seat belt you'd be running right now!" I said giving him a warning.

"Yeah cause nerdy sarah knows how to run fast all of a sudden." he said as he laughed at his own joke.

"I probably can for your information just because I'm a nerd doesn't mean I'm not in shape." I said trying to lie but couldn't as he gave me that look and we both started laughing.

"Get in loser, we're going to the park." As I opened up the door and he hopped in.

When we arrived at the park we both got out and grabbed our cameras and headed towards the playground.

"You know I can probably take better pictures than you can." Zayn teased as he jogged towards the swings.

"I highly doubt that since your IQ is about as much as a rock and besides you're popular you shouldn't even care about school."

"Hey now, I am actually very well when it comes to english I might want to become an english teacher someday I guess we'll just see eh? And please, I'm not that popular." He said while looking down deciding whether he was lying or not.

"Oh please! I am at the bottom of the totem pole and you're at like the top. I'm basically the one who gets attacked by bears if bears ever came around a totem pole since I'd be at the bottom."

"Oh Sarah always coming up with theories like that. You're actually pretty cool for a NERD." He said as he teasingly punched me in the shoulder.

"LOL, so now I'm a nerd to you?!" I said staring him, he had the most perfect cheekbones ever.

"Oh, I'm sorry Sar, I didn't mean to, I didn't know it would hurt your-" As he realized I was smiling at him and he knew I was just teasing him back.

"So should we take pictures now?" He said as he snapped a picture of me without me noticing.

"Hey!" I tried taking a picture of him but he grabbed my camera and started running away while I chased after him.

"LETS SEE IF SARAH CAN KEEP UP WITH ME LIKE SHE SAYS SHE CAN!" As he ran around the playground when I finally caught up with him and tackled him while we both fell the ground. Without noticing the camera was set to an automatic picture taking and snapped a picture of me falling and landing on top of him. We didn't know though as we just stared into each other's eyes admiring how brown they were. They were, they were beautiful.

Zayn started to lean in for a kiss, but I suddenly got up and brushed the grass off of my pants.

"So, should we finish taking pictures now?" I asked as I tried to avoid the awkwardness that just happened.

"Yes, we shall." He smiled as he picked up both our cameras and we walked back to the playground to finish up.

As I arrived home I could see dinner was almost ready so I hopped out of the car and walked in.

What just happened back there at the park? Was Zayn really

just going

kiss me?

Out of all the girls at our school and even in the world and him being this beautiful human being would go for a girl yeah right. I was probably just over exaggerating..

THAT'S IT! Chapter 6 is over and I want to hear your guy's opinion on it! :) Sorry it was so short, I will make the chapters longer as I keep on typing don't worry there is MUCH more coming soon! I'd also like to explain why I haven't been updating this fan fic that much and its because of school and I didn't realize that people actually liked reading it haha surprisingly people seem to like it so far and I hope I meet up to most of your standards for this one direction fan fic. :) I promise I will be updating quite often possibly weekly but school does come first before writing, so I guess we will just see!
